Hey Wenger It's nice to see that you are being ruthless. That's what you need to do sometimes. I felt sorry for Mozart, he deserves a game but Ramsey had a good game.
Fabulouski 7: Never really troubled. Didn't even move for Michi's effort which was a worry.
Arsenal travel to Stamford Bridge on Sunday to face Chelsea in a game that could have a huge saying on the season for both clubs. The Gunners are coming off the back of the best performance in a while, knowing that a win will put us just five points behind Chelsea with a game in hand. The Blues, on the other hand, are in a bad way.
It is now looking more and more likely that Theo Walcott will be leaving Arsenal as the Gunners manager has made an announcement that he has persuaded FIVE you British players to sign new long term contract extensions at the Emirates, but Theo Walcott was definitely not one of them.
Wenger said: "We are delighted that these five young players have all signed new long-term contracts.
Theo Walcott's representatives are playing a game with Arsenal. The press (and many individuals) report Arsenal are being lackadaisical and not efficient renewing his contract, although ultimately the final playing card lays with Wenger's value of the player. He believes he isn't worth the £100,000 a week his agents want, unfortunately fees Liverpool and Man City (the interested clubs) will pay.
Why Theo Walcott is important from the bench by KJ
After Friday's internationals, Walcott was taken to hospital after suffering a suspected broken rib against San Marino something that could keep him out of football for a good two months.
After being kept in overnight, he was quoted saying that "it felt like being hit by a bus".
The England manager Roy Hodgson is going to take a leaf out of Arsene Wenger's book when his team line up at Wembley tonight against international minnows San Marino. Along with using Wenger's formation, Hodgson will start with two of the Arsenal players who are used to it.
Theo Walcott looks set to start on the right with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on the left.
£100k a week, for the player that scared the pants off Messi & Guardiola? by Paul N.
According to media sources, Arsenal Football Club is apparently struggling to close a deal with a certain player who Lionel Messi himself once quoted as "one of the most dangerous players I have ever played against".
Do you remember the game against Liverpool whenyoung Theoslalomed his way from our own half past what seemed like the whole of the Liverpool team to set up the late equaliser? Tell me you weren't jumping up and down when that was happening?
Do you also remember a similar run against Milan in the San Siro?
So with the lowly Coventry dispatched with consummate ease earlier this evening, focus now turns to a Saturday lunchtime humdinger of a match against the mob from West of Moscow.
Both sides are firing in the goals at the minute, but there is a difference, one side is solid and leaking the odd goal whilst the other is rather living on the edge and having to outscore opponents.
Today's post derives from a comment posted by Adrian yesterday. It is fair to say that his
opinions are not in keeping with many on this site but they do represent an interesting
counterargument that is worthy of debate.
RVP, Song and now maybe Walcott although the latest reports suggest he may stay.

Walcott on his way out? It is being reported by the Times and the Telegraph tonight that Theo has
rejected a contract extension. This deal was a very lucrative one for Walcott meaning that this is
a worrying situation indeed. The likes of Manchester City and Liverpool are interested in the
English winger.
After enduring the awkwardness of training with Arsenal in the lead-up to his transfer, Robin
van Persie has arrived at Manchester United to meet his new coworkers and begin training. He also
told the press about the screaming little boy inside of him.
From the Guardian:
"Manchester United breathe football in every aspect, for me it was quite soon that I made my
decision," he said.
There's a football match today and although it has little significance to the upcoming season,
we like a pre-match on Arsenal Arsenal so here goes ........
I know absolutely nothing about the opposition but I do expect that we'll see lots of different
Arsenal players during this game as Arsène makes the most of giving a run out to as many as he
can.

Here's Arsenal's accompanying viral for the launch of their new kit it's quite
good, in a 'Szczzczczesny's acting is more wooden than a day-out at the lolly stick factory' kind
of way...
RE: Theo's free-kick CGI jiggery-pokery or not CGI jiggery-pokery?
Few people have wanted to write about our losses this season there have been too many sadly and
yesterday was no exception. Watching the game on a good stream it was difficult to draw any
positives from a lacklustre performance that was more reminiscent of the dark days in January than
the recent exciting football we have witnessed.

Football, bloody hell, etc. etc. After a really crappy January, and two painful cup defeats, we
have now decided to exclusively win games from losing positions. It's a lot of fun, but I'm not
sure it's good for my heart. Anyway, thoughts as follows:
* The Newcastle goal is a catalogue of defensive errors from Arsenal.
The Theo question: by SV Saturday was a perfect display of how frustrating Theo can be, and also of
how devastating and penetrative he can be. He suffered a poor start to the game though, if I'm
honest, I think that how poor the start was is being greatly exaggerated. In the second half,
however, [..
A week is a long time in football. Just 7 days ago we were wrapped up in enthusiasm following
our last minute victory, and yet those happy days seem a long gone. Will the confidence of
the team plummet because we got spanked by a rampant AC Milan? We shall see today.
I cannot remember a time under Mr Wenger when there has been so much uncertainty amongst the
fans.
The big win over Blackburn was immensely enjoyable and has lifted the mood in the Gooner camp to
a great extent after an eminently forgettable January. A lot has already been said about the match
and I don't want to revisit it in detail but there were two goals in that game that caught my
eye.
Both the goals started from the back but were scored in a markedly different manner, each a
delight in its own way.
If you carefully select portions of this game you can make a video highlighting many of
Arsenal's major problems. With another selection you could also show the reasons that make the
Gunners such a great team to watch and support. It was a classic Cup tie and one that will remain
in fans' memories for years to come if it can spark a run of form.
Angry, frustrated, disappointed. Once again Arsenal fans are left let-down, once again we are
promised things will change and once again it is groundhog season for Arsenal, and we haven't even
entered the annual departures of the close season.
Where do we start? It is obvious that things went wrong in the summer with Wenger anticipating
that both Nasri and Fabregas will not leave these were the hopes of a man living in a dream
land.
We are still a few days away from the Leeds game and I don't want to step on what will surely be
another (auto paste here) splendid pre match from the master himself. But without wishing to step
on toes I want to get some thoughts off my chest.
Having spent most of Christmas and New Year struggling to find the back of net I have started to
change my mind about the importance of this game and who should be playing.
We need more potency in the final third, that much was clearly on show on Monday against
Fulham.
We dominated and played some of the best football this season, but we could not finish....
second half we took off pace and just got straight out pummeled for 30 minutes.
Say what you want about the ref, red cards, penalties etc.
I'm not feeling at all witty this morning and the things I have to say are mostly obvious and
not earth shatteringly different. What I want to know most of all is what on earth happened
in our dressing room at half-timeyesterday? We had played a very
acceptable game up until then, we were good for our lead and yet we didn't come onto the pitch with
any belief that we were going to win the game.
They say, "Never meet your heroes." Quite who 'they' are, I'll never know. But forget that. Last
night after we squeaked past QPR at the Emirates with a 1-0 win me and my old man bumped into Sammy
Nelson. He was having a beer at Victoria Station before he hopped on a train back to his home in
Brighton.
Benayoun continued in the midfield and Ramsey came in for the presumably tired Rosicky, and we
started delightfully. Â A neat one two between RVP and Theo saw the latter run through on goal,
Bassong couldn't touch him without being sent off and conceding a penalty, yet this is precisely
what the stupid Wolves defender did, he ran across both Theo's heels and have the referee no
choice, RVP chipped
Let's start this morning with tonight's game against Aston Villa.
We all know about our injured full back situation (more on that anon) and Djourou's sprangled
groin further complicates things. I would suggest we'll see a start for Ignasi Miquel at left back,
Laurent Koscielny on the right with Vermesackser in the middle.
Brisbane could pay a heavy price for poor finishing against Adelaide. CCM now favoured to win.
Brisbane - gee - doing it the hard way.
Should have beaten a hapless Newcastle defence 6 or 7 -1 including Henrique missing a penalty.
Mitch showed him how to do it a bit later. Brisbane fielded a weakened defence - why hasn't Hingert
started before now?

Sorry about the lack of activity of late, this Interlull seems to be lasting closer to a month than just under two weeks. Well, it comes to an end and back to the club football that we all love. I'm sure you have all been keeping tabs on the status of our players away on international duty. It looks like other than an injury to Theo, we will come back pretty much unscathed (PHEW!
There's a possibility you've seen this before, but we've just stumbled across it for the first
time and reckoned it be worth a-sharin' for those who haven't clamped eyes on it yet Zizou and his
three young sons, Enzo, Luca and little Theo (who sustains a career-threatening bruised toe
following a horror tackle from his older brother), having a bit of a kickabout in the garden back
in 2007.
I will keep this short since you should already know my name better than your own.
I scored two goals and Cristiano Ronaldo scored none goals. Therefore I am better than Ronaldo.
And since Lionel Messi isn't even in this tournament, that makes me the undisputed (your vote
doesn't count) Best Player in the World.
