After 2-0 win over Sunsari XI on Saturday, the national team were hopeful over convincing win
repeat in Morang. But the national team which was playing the second game in the humid and hot
weather in the East were punished by Deepak Rai in 7th minute. The free kick beat the previous
first choice goalkeeper Bikash Malla.

Jumanu Rai once again demonstrated that he is a consistent striker. He opened the score in the 6th
minute against Sunsari XI while Deepak Bhusal doubled the lead in 70th minute. The players from the
Dharan Academy playing for Sunsari XI showed some great skills but they were not a match for a
Graham Roberts side.

Much has been said about the lack of English managers and indeed players with foreign
experience. However, in a bid to redress that imbalance, former Tottenham defender Graham
Roberts has decided to go all the way to Pakistan to improve his coaching CV.
A gentle public service announcement, for those who might be interested – a team of Spurs
veterans is in action on Sunday 15th November, 2pm at Wadham Lodge, Walthamstow.
The Spurs team in action will include legendary Uefa Cup-winning captain (and featured player in
Spurs' Cult Heroes) Graham Roberts, as well as Tony Galvin, Gary Stevens, Mark Falco,
Micky Hazard, Steve Sedgely, Clive Wilson, Garry Brooke and Mark Stimson.
Graham Roberts is one of the players featuring in Spurs' Cult Heroes, having sweated
blood for the club in a Cup Final and dumped Charlie Nicholas into the Highbury stands. Please go
full steam ahead and share your favourite memories of the man – episodes such as these, first
impressions, memorable incidents or personal meetings you may have had.
It;'s hard to know what to make of this new bid presumably being made by the Fans 401 consortium,
and fronted by former Spurs defender Graham Roberts. Graham has claimed they will meet today meet
Derek Llambias to discuss a ÂŁ100M buy-out. But we cannot help but think this is a waste of time,
because remember this [.
What ho. If I've been doing this right seasoned visitors to AANP Towers should know that as
of this Saturday the book "Spurs' Cult Heroes" becomes available to buy in shops.
To mark the occasion and whet your appetite, I have posted a world exclusive no less – below, for
your visual delectation, is the Introduction to Spurs' Cult Heroes.
Three spaces left, but still a number of contenders for the list of 20 Spurs Cult Heroes. Still
looking for the players who achieved legendary status amongst us fans for what they did at the club
– so put forward your argument for (or indeed against) the inclusion of any of these:
Pat Jennings, John White, Alfie Conn, Bill Brown, Sandy Brown, Cyril Knowles, Ralph Coates, Gary
Lineker, Steffen Freund, Teddy Sheringham.
The clue is in the title - the first all-action book on Spurs is imminent, and all lilywhite
fans are most warmly invited to pitch in.
A list of 20 fans' favourites is being compiled, and frankly, for a team as steeped in history
as ours, there just ain't enough room for everyone. Some names effortlessly pick themselves –
true Lane legends such as Blanchflower, Perryman, Mabbutt, Greaves and Bill Nick.
The acronym "SIPP" (Self Invested Personal Pension) has recently become a familiar one to all those
who have supported the NUST in their bid to drive owner, Mike Ashley, from St James's Park. It is
one of the primary financial vehicles used to try and persuade people to invest savings and
pensions in the NUST's [.
Ever since Mike Ashley first put Newcastle United up for sale there have been rumours of various
fan buy-out schemes for the club. The latest of them was probably that Graham Roberts nonsense,
which I took a particular dislike to and refused to waste electrons on. However, it seems that the
results of the Keegan [.
You couldn't make it up could you? Well actually, you probably could judging by the recent Mahjoob
and Parkinsons pranks and judging by the tosh written in the media. So which prospective buyers are
legitimate and which ones are realistically anywhere near to buying our football club? Latest to
take a bow in the spotlight of [.
The takeover farce is, as usual, suffering from conflicting press opinions. First we hear from
newspapers like The Guardian, The Telegraph and The Journal that Ashley arrived at the training
ground in his gunship to join Llambias and Moat in takeover talks. Then The Chronicle comes along
and says Ashley isn't there for takeover talks at all but is merely [.
All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) President Ganesh Thapa and Nepal National team coach, Graham
Roberts have confirmed that Nepal team would tour ASEAN region before competing in SAFF
Championship scheduled in December in India.
President Thapa said that Nepal National team is all set to tour Philippines on October 11 before
going to Cambodia to take on Cambodia U-23 on October 28.
Graham Roberts' interview with talksport.
He mentions his experience with working on with Nepalese players, playing conditions, facilities
available. He mentions about lack of fitness of Nepalese players and level of motivation needed to
win matches. He enjoyed his time with players as well as other staffs.
Great? Probably not in the conventional sense of the term, but Manchester City's promoted side of
1988-89 deserve the label for their sheer likeability. City trailed Champions Chelsea by 17 points
at season end, and were roundly humiliated by the Blues in the run in, a match that saw the Graham
Roberts inspired Londoners canter to a 3-0 lead before stepping off the gas at Maine Road.
Remember Graham Roberts and his plan to put Newcastle United in the hands of the fans? I thought
that had faded into oblivion. In fact I thought it was a complete non-starter and imposed a
reporting embargo on myself about it, but I've lifted it in the interests of amusement. It seems
this bid is still simmering [.
