QPR manager Harry Redknapp is looking to exploit the French market in the January transfer window and has stepped up the chase to bring French duo Loic Remy and Yann M'Vila at the London club.
Marseille forward Remy, whose career has hit a snag through injuries recently has been wanted by host of English clubs including Newcastle United.
Queens Park Rangers are looking to end a turbulent 2012 on a high by earning a much-needed Premier League victory against visitors Liverpool in Sunday's televised clash. Rangers are rooted to the bottom of the table after just one win in their opening 19 matches of the season. However, supporters are hoping another memorable home victory against the Reds can be the catalyst for survival once again.

QPR escaped Premier League relegation by the skin of their teeth last season, securing their
top-flight status on the last day of the campaign despite losing 3-2 to Manchester City. The club's
owner Tony Fernandes is obviously keen to avoid such a nail-biting finale to 2012-13, with a very
busy transfer window heralding a number of new players for the Loftus Road outfit.
Having both been thrashed 5-0 last week, both Norwich and QPR can be happy with a point a piece.
Simeon Jackson gave Norwich the lead on 12 minutes before Bobby Zamora grabbed the equaliser five
minutes later after Djibril Cisse's penalty was saved and Zamora was the quickest to react, albeit
he was a yard inside the box as the spot kick was struck.
At 15.45 last Sunday it was all pretty much over. Despite a valiant park-the-bus effort, my
beloved Queens Park Rangers were a goal down at Manchester City. And, horror of horrors, Bolton had
come from a goal behind to lead at Stoke. At Stoke! But no-one ever comes from behind at the
Britannia. The superhoops were as good as down.
Manchester City won the title, Arsenal finished in third place, and Blackburn were relegated in
the English Premier League on May 13, 2012.

Two first half goals were enough for Chelsea to hold on for the three points. Blackburn scored a
second half goal to make things interesting but couldn't finish the comeback.
This morning I went running 10 Km in Caracas, and just came home to watch the last round of the
Premier League. Surely, the Premier League was closer to giving me a heart attack in what was
perhaps the most spectacular league ending in many years! Manchester United and Manchester City

That was as surreal as it was exceptional. A match of such class, such splendor, that many of
us, including one Fernando Torres, were likely wondering who this team was that we were watching.

Coates' acrobatics put Liverpool ahead...Liverpool fell to an
embarrassing defeat on Wednesday evening at Loftus Road. Queens Park Rangers came from 2-0 down to
beat Liverpool with three goals in less than 15 minutes. It was a shock to watch Liverpool crumble
so quickly and easily after what started off as a good performance.
In the beginning it seemed as though today things might end differently for Liverpool. Against
lower ranked opponents; against a side that started the day in the relegation zone. When Liverpool
came out flying against a side low on confidence, a side that hadn't won a game in two months, it
almost seemed as though they might be able to put a season filled with inconsistent performances
against just such opposition behind them.
Quick turnaround for Liverpool after their Sunday victory as they head to Loftus Road to face
Queens Park Rangers tomorrow night. After a difficult start to 2012, Liverpool finally look as
though they're turning a corner with a convincing win over Everton in the Merseyside Derby and a
grinding victory over Stoke on Sunday to advance to the semi-finals of the FA Cup.
On Friday we started a new diet that only allowed us gin and tonics for 48 hours straight.
All in all, it was the first diet we ever seriously stuck to and as a result, we lost two whole
days!
