WCR Top 25 Clubs in the World - Snowy Europe Edition

World Club Rankings at related • 0 views

We had a lot of cancellations this weekend across Europe due to snowstorms, particularly in France and Italy. I'd be hard-pressed to say, however, that those missed matches had much of an affect on the rankings.
Undoubtedly, the match of the weekend took place at Stamford Bridge, where Chelsea took a three-goal lead over Manchester United and then watched it melt away in the final forty-five minutes before finishing the match drawn at 3-3.

Have Arsenal missed the chance to solve their keeper crisis?

This weekend's fixture cancellations have created many losers in the Premier League, with perhaps the biggest loser of all Arsenal's young goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, who missed out on the opportunity to show that he is a man capable of becoming the long-term solution to Arsenal's ongoing goalkeeping crisis.

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening everybody, I was going to say that it's nice not to have to deal with any cancellations this morning only to wake up to Pompey and Birmingham being melted out of all things (lots of snow + warming temperatures + heavy rains = excessively swampy pitch). I guess the only upside is that most people likely don't have too many players from this match other than those

We've been talking long and hard about Portland's troubles with their stadium but now it looks like Vancouver could be joining the mix? While both cities were awarded expansion bids it went with certain stadium situations that the league agreed on. Now Portland seems to have taken care of their issues but now Vancouver could be headed down a tough road of stadium fun.

Complete Schedule of Friendlies Before the World Cup

Here are the matches that the 32 World Cup teams will be using to tune their tactics and make the final squad decisions before the big show. Mexico is apparently from the "more is better" school of match scheduling. They are playing constantly throughout May and early June. Argentina, as far as published friendlies go, looks to be opting for training camp over match fitness, with only early home matches with Haiti and Canada.

Automatic Cup Scheme To Continue

Last year, MUST got stuck in to Manchester United's ticket policy, particularly where season tickets were concerned. Then the OFT got on board in MUST's fight after seeing how the normal fans were being priced out and how unrealistic and unfair the Automatic Cup Scheme was.

Following the investigation, United have told the OFT they do not believe the terms and conditions are unfair but plan to make things "clearer" in the future, whatever that means!
