Toronto FC has yet to win a match in 2017, and finding that first win just became significantly more difficult.
According to the Toronto Sun, Sebastian Giovinco has been ruled out of Toronto FC's clash with the Vancouver Whitecaps due to a leg injury, specifically a contusion to his illiotibial band.

The Seattle Soundershad won theirlast four home matches but on Saturday night in front of41,028 at CenturyLink Field, the Colorado Rapids went on the road and, like they have all season, found a way to get the result.
The visiting Rapids converted their only shot on goal and walked away with a 1-0 victory courtesy of Axel Sjoberg's first-half header.
Live updates, more details tonight:
- 1sr Round 14th Pick: Rapids trade the 19th pick (and presumable something else) to Columbus for the 14th pick. They take CB Axel Sjoberg out of Marquette. Sjoberg is Swedish and presumably will take an international slot.
- 2nd Round 5th Pick:
Axel Sjoberg was a vital player for the Marquette men's soccer team last fall, both on the backline and in attack.
The 6-foot-7 Swede was honored by Soccer America, as the center back was one of only two players on the publication's All-Freshman first team.
Sjoberg anchored a defense that posted 10 shutouts and gave up just 17 goals in 21 matches, and also was second on the team with eight goals and added three assists.
Boo this man.
It was not a high scoring round, with just 10 goals scored across 8 MLS games, and half of those goals came in Sunday's two matches. With 71 points, Stockholm Syndrome is the leader for the round. Robbie Keane (LA, $11.1) wore the armband and scored 14 points on the strength of a goal scored.
