Tottenham midfielder Gareth Bale has expressed his gratitude at being back in action for Spurs following their 2-1 win over Southampton this weekend. The former Saints player was on the scoresheet in his return from injury, and now sees his side flying high in fourth place in the league.

"It was great to come back and it was obviously great to get back on the scoresheet," Bale told ITV after the match.
