In replacing Marnick Vermiji for the last ten minutes of Manchester United B's 2-1 win over Newcastle United Fringe XI in the League Cup tonight, young Ryan Tunnicliffe saw his Dad cash in on a £100 bet he made with a friend almost a decade ago.

Back when Tunnicliffe was just nine-years old, his old man had a ton on his sprog playing for the United first team one day, with his mate giving him odds of 100/1.
