The Best Players To Miss On South Africa 2010

World Cup Buzz 10 November @ 04:35 PM EST

The World Cup is almost set in terms of the teams that will qualify and once the play-offs are completed it will be clear whether the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Thierry Henry and Franck Ribery will be present or missing. In the meantime, Sweden's talented forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic will certainly not be going to the World Cup after his country failed to qualify from the same group which saw eventual winners Denmark earn automatic qualification and runners-up Portugal reach the play-offs.

Ibrahimovic credits Mihalovic for his free kick abilities

La Liga Talk 27 October @ 08:46 AM EST

There is no doubt that on his day Zlatan Ibrahimovic is one of the most talented footballers in the world but often he is criticised for being lazy and unproductive so his transfer to Barcelona was met with doubt by some Barcelona fans. However the Swedish striker has played well since his move from Inter Milan and has been a stand out player in a Barcelona shirt this season.

Match Report: Barcelona 6-1 Zaragoza

Barcelista 26 October @ 01:52 PM EST
Was that Barca out there last night? Because all we saw was a blue and red steamroller which, engineered by perfection in the form of Seydou Keita, charged onto the pitch full speed ahead and flattened the quaking opposition. Zaragoza never stood a chance against a Barca side that came out last night with more hunger than we've probably seen in them this season. Click to continue reading...

Gossip on the Guys: Time Troubles

It looks like Gerard Pique has replaced Samuel Eto'o this season as the player who most often shows up late to training. And today was no exception, with Geri arriving five minutes later than the 11:30 deadline (pictured). Naturally he's up for a fine now; all the better for the club's contributions to medical research. Click to continue reading...

As it stands, Barcelona are the darling of the football world. They're brilliantly effective and alluringly stylish. El Barça ha ganado con Ibrahimovic

FutblogMexicano 27 September @ 05:55 PM EST

Inter – nothing new

Soccer Pie 25 September @ 06:22 AM EST

It has been 16 months since the „Special One" took over Inter's bench and now we are free to say that he made no impact. There hasn't been any progress and it is time for Massimo Moratti to ask himself what was wrong with Roberto Mancini.

The fact that Inter defended the title cannot be considered success and most of Italian football fans will agree with me on this.

There was much build up around the Inter vs Barcelona match up, aka. Eto'o vs Ibrahimovic, but in the end the two teams battled to a draw at the San Siro. For FC Barcelona the emotions were mixed heading back to the Camp Nou as the team left Milan unscathed but should have walked away with a win having many opportunities on goal.

Johnson Witch Hunt Hides Grander Issues Within England Camp
