Uruguay won the Copa America by a canter this afternoon to confirm themselves as undisputed
champions of South America.
From early on it was clear that the World Cup semi-finalists were the better team.

Not the final everyone assumed 3 weeks ago, but it's the final nonetheless. Paraguay have
reached the final game by not even winning a game. 5 draws, 2 shootouts, 5 goals scored, 5 goals
against. They're hoping this one goes to penalties. Uruguay though are a talented team lead by the
two pronged attack of Forlan and Suarez.

inauguración oficial del estadio
"Centenario Campeones del Mundo", del Club Atlético Sarmiento de Resistencia (Chaco) y la
primera visita de la selección a la provincia en la historia (lo más cerca había sido en 1981
cuando el equipo de Menotti llegó a Formosa para la apertura oficial del estadio de la Liga
provincial).
