Saturday night's appearances by midfielders Zach Pfeffer and Morgan Langley marked the first
time a true local product has played in a regular season game for the Union.
Until now, Philly-area players haven't been represented at PPL Park in a game that mattered.

it on their home turf, Estadio Azteca, in front of 105,000 supporting El Tri. Yes, that means
Mexico have won two out of the last four U17 World Cups.

club programs, it raises some basic elements of running a recreational program that are
critical.
The Premier League overhaul of youth development is a needed response to the UEFA Financial Fair
Play imposition and new EPL rule that all clubs must have a minimum of eight home grown squad
members and has the full backing of me and all of my power over English football.
These new rules, which come into effect in the next couple of years, force clubs to invest heavily
in developing youth talent.
