Canada, Head Coach Pia Sundhage can now turn her focus onto her squads first friendly match of the
new year against New Zealand. The match will be played at FC Dallas Stadium in Frisco, Texas,
marking the eighth time the USWNT will play in the Lone Star State.

Fresh off a successful Olympic qualifying campaign, U.S. women's national team head coach Pia
Sundhage has called up 28 players for its upcoming friendly against New Zealand.
Nineteen of the 20 players on the Olympic qualifying roster were summoned by Sundhage for the
Americans' first game on home soil this year, including Alex Morgan, Hope Solo and Abby
Wambach.

has named a roster of 23 players to travel to the United Kingdom on March 21 in preparation for the
USA's first match in England on April 2 at Brisbane Road in East London. The game will be televised
live on ESPN2 at 3 p.
Following a seven-day camp in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., US head coach Pia Sundhage has named the
24-player roster that will travel to Portugal for the Algarve Cup (March 2-9). Sundhage will name a
20-player roster before the start of the tournament.
Hope Solo will go on this trip, but is not ready to compete in matches, and will be in Portugal
to train as she enters the final stages of rehabilitation from shoulder surgery.
Beeeeeeeeeep!A day of fitness testing is in the books for the U.S. WNT and the rest of the camp will be
focused on, as Pia Sundhage said in the first team meeting, "play, play, play." But after a morning
of VO2 Mac testing on the treadmill, the U.S. team hit the field in the afternoon for its usual
quartet of timed 20 and 40-yard dash, agility test, jump test and Beep Test.

Teal Bunbury and Juan Agudelo had an immediate impact on Saturday's U.S.-Chile game when the
pair of youngsters came on as second half substitutes.
*Just a month after turning 16, Newport Beach Galaxy Youth Academy product Jack McBean,
currently in his first semester at the U.S. U-17 academy in Bradenton, Fl., is reportedly
poised to sign a professional contract with the Galaxy.
McBean scored nine goals in 10 games for the Galaxy's U-15/U-16 team last season, which is
coached by Kenny Arena, son of Galaxy coach and GM Bruce Arena.

Women's World Cup commencing in late June, the tournament will be a key part of Sundhage's crafting
of the eventual Women's World Cup roster as the USA takes on three strong nations, including
Sweden, which is the USA's third Group C opponent at the Women's World Cup in Germany.
United States Women's National Team coach Pia Sundhage released the roster of 23 players that will

The U.S. has not participated in this tournament since 2007, but is looking to add to its record
