In which, during the Segunda Division tie between the two sides on Monday evening, Xerez 'keeper
Toni Doblas reduces Girona striker Ion Velez's knee to a mushy paste with a truly horrific
full-tilt tackle.
Warning for the squeamish: I'm no doctor, but I'm pretty sure you can see Velez's knee dislocate
fairly graphically during the second replay.

Xerez) finally plucked up the cojones to try his infamous trick-shot again this weekend in a
Spanish second tier tie against Elche.
January Transfer Window 2011 – done deals (La Liga) is a post from: Just Football

spending during the January transfer window was a lot less than in the Premier League:
ALMERÍA
Ins: Juanito (Málaga), Antonio Luna (loan from Sevilla) Sofiane Feghouli (loan from
Valencia).
