Mirror: Fergie must buy big to keep Rooney happy
Why Barton can't moan too much over red card Festive thrills mean we should never have a winter
break When Wayne Rooney looks lost and unhappy, you know there is something wrong at Old
Trafford. Dropped for the home defeat by Blackburn, United's only remaining player with the
X-Factor was a non-factor as they lost against at Newcastle.
Bojan Krkic was all but mauled by a Kickette Soldier girl at his book signing last week.
We're beyond proud.
Saturday
- Chelsea FC owner and Russian bajillionaire, Roman Abromovich, spared no expense for his New
Year's Eve party in St Bart's.
A lot is made of the culture that Sir Alex Ferguson has built at Manchester United, and the
foundation is built on an insatiable thirst for winning.
You can certainly see it on the field when watching the Red Devils take on English Premier League
opponents, but if you can't pinpoint that x-factor on the field, listen to comments by Manchester
United players, coaches and rivals.

If you give Photoshop-enabled laptops to the Mayhem & Fruit Beverage Suite bishes, this is what
you can expect to happen. We've learned this now and are trying to retrieve the computers, although
judging by the state of the intern who returned empty handed from the Suite a few moments ago, our
journey will be a long, hard one.
Manchester United star Wayne Rooney was at the centre of an unlikely Twitter spat with The X Factor
'wildman' Frankie Cocozza. The reality TV star tweeted: "#CelebsThatLookLikeTheyStink not really a
celeb but I bet his pits are stinking, along with his breath @waynerooney." You might wonder what
Rooney would gain from rising to the bait, [.

Since returning to Anfield, Kenny Dalglish has spent more than 100m on new players. Which, if any,
of these players could be sold at a profit for Liverpool in the future?
One of FSG's goals is to buy young players with a view to increasing their value over the duration
of their contracts, with Liverpool (hopefully) benefiting in the meantime.

Snap judgments in the Patrice Evra-Luis Suárez dispute help no one | Marina
Hyde
All accusations of racism should be taken seriously, but all players are innocent until proven
guilty – contrary to what you may have read Is there anything less appealing than the absolute
moral certainty with which some Liverpool fans automatically dismissed Patrice Evra's claim that he
was racially abused, and some Manchester United fans automatically wrote off Luis Suárez as a
racist, despite neither faction having any way of knowing for sure what actually happened on the
pitch on Saturday?

I loved standing on the terraces of the Stretford End and the Kippax in the 1970s and Eighties.
I loved it for the anonymity you got from being part of the crowd. I loved it for the opportunity

Video: Lucas's reality TV stars
Which Liverpool star would be the best on X-Factor? Which Red would do well on Strictly Come

clip is now available exclusively to LFC TV Online subscribers.
So, the players will be back today, there'll be proper training and five initiation ceremonies
to go through. The tradition at Arsenal is that new boys have to sing a song which, to me, sounds
like a truly awful thing to have to go through.
And I don't mean for the new boy who has to do the singing.

There was much excitement garnered after earlier in the summer Milan declared they were searching
for a certain Mr. X. As the name suggests, it appeared as if the club were looking for a player who
possessed an x-factor element. A player who single-handedly would elevate the team to a higher
level and with it bring the club closer to the lofty heights that have characterised it's history

Who do you think will win the

Some say Youth tournaments are all about team systems, style of play, and of course they are. They
set a tone for the nation's coaches and players - something we are working towards in
Australia.
But for fans and for future Coaches they are also about individuals.
Barcelona without Lionel Messi compared to Spain without Messi.
A bit of David Luiz with more experience and maturity
A £10m reported offer by Arsenal for Everton centre back Phil Jagielka has been rejected. This
is £2m less than Wenger offered last summer for a defender he supposedly admires. One wonders if
Arsenal work on an EBITDA like scheme for football players to come up with such a reduced
offer.
