are likely to have been impressed – the striker bagged five goals in a remarkable display.
Sixty league goals in 105 league matches for Huddersfield Town would suggest a definitive yes, but
hat-tricks against the likes of Wycombe Wanderers, Preston and Exeter can't be compared to the
opposition faced in England's top division. Being an...

Former Liverpool and Everton defender Gary Ablett passed away last night after a 16-month battle
with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
The 46-year-old was one of a select band of players to enjoy extended stays with both Liverpool
clubs after starting off with the red half of the city as an apprentice in 1982.
Wycombe Wanderers manager Gary Waddock believes that new Liverpool signing Jordan Ibe will be a
massive success at Anfield. Speaking to the Bucks Free Press, Waddock enthused: "He'll be a
success. If a club of Liverpool's size show an interest and want you, who knows what he can
achieve?
Wycombe Wanderers have announced Liverpool have signed highly-rated teenager Jordan Ibe.
As revealed by skysports.com earlier this month, Liverpool has won the race for the 16-year-old,
fending off interest from a number of their Premier League rivals.
Ibe became Wycombe's youngest-ever goalscorer when he netted against Sheffield Wednesday in October
aged 15 years and 325 days on his first start for the club.

After over 12 months out of the game, Martin O'Neill has returned to Premier League management
after signing a three year contract with Sunderland, the team he supported as boy.
For many and certainly for Sunderland fans, it is the perfect appointment, O'Neill has long
since been recognised as one of the great football managers of recent times and has always improved
the standing of any club he has been in charge of.
Sunderland have wasted no time finding a replacement for the fired Steve Bruce by targeting the
best manager available for hire: Martin O'Neil. By all accounts O'Neil is close to agreeing to take
over at the Stadium of Light and could be in the stands for Sunday's away match against
Wolverhampton.

English Division One side Wycome Wanderers 15 year old teen-sensation Jordan Ibe score's a
brilliant individual goal on his debut against Sheffield Wednesday last week, no wonder Manchester
United and Chelsea are beating down the Adams Park door for his signature.
Another loss, this one midweek to Cheltenham Town in the second round of the Johnstone's Paint
Trophy, suggested a continuation of the poor form Wycombe Wanderers would be in the offing.
Granted, this was a rather changed side from the one last playing in the league with considerable
minutes given to 15 yr old Jordan Ibe, but the 1-2 reverse marked a third consecutive loss for the
Chairboys and five defeats from their last seven competitive matches.

Only a year ago Jay-Z was rumoured to be pondering investing in his favourite "soccer" club
Arsenal, and now another hip hop icon, Snoop Dogg, has given a shout out to Welsh wing wizards
Gareth Bale and Ryan Giggs.
Snoop is kicking off his new world tour in the UK and will be performing in Cardiff on October
8th, hence the promos.
With Forest fans feeling more threatened by the flock of disobedient partridges that swooned in
from the nearby countryside, than by Wycombe staging a potential comeback, it was an unadulterated
pleasure to be at Adams Park. There was not the usual frustration or finger biting angst that comes
with being a Forest supporter.

Quote from The Official Wycombe Wanderers website:
World-Cup winning striker Fernando Torres was on the scoresheet as Chelsea recorded a
3-0 victory over the Wanderers in a practice match at Cobham on Tuesday afternoon.
Yossi Benayoun danced through the visiting defence to open the scoring in the early stages and
Nikki Bull produced a fine stop to deny Didier Drogba, while Scott Rendell missed Wycombe's best
chance of the half from a tight angle.

remain and one that may never be broken is that no-one from the bottom two divisions of the
Football League has made The FA Cup final.
