My obsession with Moses Mabhida Stadium has taken me and my camera there in all kinds of weather
yesterday the weather was grey and every now and they it was drizzling, but Durban's 2010 World Cup
Stadium still took my breath away, like it does, every time I look at it through my lens.
People's Park
I first jumped out of the car on the bridge that crosses highway to take some pics across the
People's Park with the oval walking track that is being constructed- they have cleared all that
rubbish and railway yard stuff, and the actual track is taking shake in front of the stadium in the
Kings Park Sporting Precinct.

There is a news circulating that South Africa plans on kicking off the 2010 World Cup games by
'sacrificing' a cow (check out the article at Yahoo.com). This of course is upsetting some people
as they seem to care if a cow get's killed. South Africa is defending their decision by stating
that the ceremony needs to be blessed 'African Style' for the games to run smoothly.

Seoul tonight had to pay for the privilege to see The Berba and company stretch, jog, and pretend
like they're actually taking their preseason opponents seriously.

Manchester United trained in the World Cup stadium in Seoul today ahead of their match against
FC Seoul tomorrow. This is the city Park Ji-Sung was born in so understandably all the attention
has been on him. Park has yet to play in our pre-season tour but after taking part in the training
today, he will certainly get a run out tomorrow.

Stadium in Port Elizabeth, South Africa is now open for business, a year ahead of the 2010 World
Cup.
The 48,000-seat stadium will host eight games at the World Cup, including a quarter final and the
third/fourth place play-off.
