Over the weekend, fans of the Pittsburgh Penguins were scared by news that Sidney Crosby has a
neck injury. However, it appears as if the neck injury isn't serious. Why do I say that? I say that
because Sidney Crosby was back on the ice on Monday and skated with some teammates during a short
workout.
This just in: The U.S. WNT spends lots of time in airports. Here the squad waits for its flight
to Canada.Easy travel day for the U.S. WNT today. Relatively short flight from LA (not sure how long, but

Two first-half goals from former Anfield forward Milan Baros and a stunning volley from Johan
Elmander condemned the Reds to defeat in Istanbul.
A good workout for the men in white. Crusaders were competent, but not so competent that the
result was ever really in doubt.
Fulham took a while to get going, Matthew Briggs' goal giving us a valuable breakthrough. The
ball was cleared to the edge of the area, Briggs got there first and took a swing, the ball flew
into the top corner as if it had just left the boot of Roberto Carlos.
The video game, that is.
I'm not much of a gamer myself, but gosh, how could you not smile when watching a game of FIFA
or the insane promotional material that comes around its release. Seriously, where else can you
watch a kid from Ghana talk about playing around with Wayne Rooney, then watch Wayne Rooney talking
about taking on Joleon Lescott after United beat City.

Tarp roofs one....
Tarp slots one in the corner...

an hour and the other half lifts weights before they flip-flop for the second hour of practice.
Eight veterns + defender Ali Krieger are not in camp for the USA, but Rachel Buehler and Shannon
Boxx decided they REALLY missed the team and came by today to join training. Actually, both are
locally-based and U.S. head coach Pia Sundhage gave the players who live within driving distance of
the HDC the option of coming in to train, so the Buehldozer and Boxx decided to get a workout
today.
