Tim Ream returned to England earlier this week with all the necessary paperwork completed for
him to suit up for Bolton Wanderers, and he might not have to wait long at all to make his
debut.
Bolton manager Owen Coyle told reporters on Thursday morning that Ream, and two of the other
club's recent acquisitions, will be on the gameday squad that will take on Wigan Athletic in a
match with relegation implications on Saturday.
Arsenal can confirm that Jack Wilshere has suffered a small stress fracture to the right foot
which is in a different location to his original injury. He will be reassessed in two weeks by
Arsenal's medical team. If all goes well (keeping fingers crossed), Wilshere might be back in time
for Arsenal's Ides of March schedule.
A comedy of errors sees Leeds gain 3 points they did not deserve against Ipswich! Fan at the

Summer 2012 needs to see a change in direction in Arsenal's transfer policy. Out must go this
incessant desire to collect 15-16 year olds from around the world and expect and hope that they
will develop.
Arsenal have many youngsters in the reserves or on loan for whom the time is ripe for them to be
given their chance.
Bolton Wanderers are set to unveil the signing of defender Tim Ream after the US international
was granted a work permit yesterday.
Ream has been impressive for both the United States national team and club side Red Bull New
York, and will replace the departed Gary Cahill at the Reebok.
The 24-year old had been training with the Premier League outfit since the end of the Major
League Soccer season, and boss Owen Coyle didn't hide his interest in the defender.
Tim Ream's time in MLS has come to a close.
After spending the first two years of his professional career with the New York Red Bulls, Ream
is set to sign with Bolton Wanderers after being granted a work permit on Monday. Ream will join
Bolton on a transfer worth an estimated $3 million, the highest amound ever paid for an MLS
defender.
The Philadelphia Union are set to sign Colombian striker Lionard Pajoy, according to Kerith
Gabriel, of the Philadelphia Daily News and Philly.com.
A source informed Gabriel that Pajoy's contractual problems with his current team, Itagui
Ditaires, have postponed his move to the Union for a short period of time.
Don't forget today is the last day to pre-order the 2012 edition of the Sounder At Heart
official Scarf. There's one problem, today is the last day you can pre-order the scarfs. Time is
up at Noon, which is a half hour from now.
With training camps starting to fire up across Major League Soccer, that means more news is
going to start rolling in and that means the official return of Major Link Soccer.
Queens Park Rangers are set to land Nigerian international Taye Taiwo from Italian champions AC
Milan within the coming days. The left back joined Milan from Marseille last summer but has
struggled to make it to the first team despite not suffering from any injuries.
The finer details of Taiwo 's transfer are not clear, however what is known is that the defender
will be joining QPR on a loan deal.
Sebastien Le Toux will have a week to impress the Bolton Wanderer's coaching staff, according to
manager Owen Coyle. The Scot confirmed reports out of the United States that Le Toux was on his way
to Bolton on a trial ahead of a possible transfer.
"We have received good reports about Sebastian, so we thought we would give him an opportunity
to come into the group," said Coyle.

In a conference call on Wednesday, Union assistant coach John Hackworth confirmed that Michael
Farfan is in northern England training with English Premier League club Sunderland. "But with
Michael, he's there because he wanted to make himself fully prepared and ready, he wanted to go
experience it and make sure he's ready for preseason," Hackworth said.
Bye bye Timmy?Good morning! With MLS preseason training beginning in just three weeks and
the MLS Combine complete, there should be a lot of player movement and a ton of new signings
announced in the coming days. The 2012 MLS SuperDraft kicks off tomorrow, and though the New York
Red Bulls only have one selection (the 31st overall pick in round two), it's not inconceivable that
we could see a trade or two happen while the general managers and coaches are assembled in Kansas
City.
BBC News and Sky News are reporting that American Robbie Rogers has signed a deal with Leeds
United of England's Championship. The 24 year old winger has been capped 18 times by the United
States National Team and most recently played for the Columbus Crew in MLS. This isn't Rogers'
first signing with a European club.
Former Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez signed quite a few top class players during his time at
Anfield, but even his most ardent supporters would concede he made his fair share of transfer
mistakes. One such mistake was (arguably) the signing of Sebastian Leto in January 2007, and in a
recent interview, Benitez sought to justify his decision to sign the player.
One of our opponents from last season's Champions League is the latest to be linked with the job
of replacing Brad Friedel as Tottenham's long term number one.
According to the Daily Mirror, Spurs are monitoring the progress of FC Twente's Bulgarian
international stopper Nikolay Mihaylov with a view to a move in January, or at the end of the
current English season.
The transfer rumours over a new Spurs striker continue to hot up and as Leandro Damiao's stock
continues to rise, so does his alleged transfer fee. With figures of around £15m quoted back in
the summer, some stories have emerged suggesting that Internacional will be looking for a figure
nearer to £40m when the Brazilian season comes to an end.
Keon Daniel may not return to the Philadelphia Union this season, according to a source close to
the player.
The source told the Brotherly Game that, "Keon [Daniel] isn't coming back this season. I know
people thought he would return in a week or two, but no. Not until next season."
When asked about the reasons for why Daniel will not return this season, the source said,
"Someone forgot to redo his work permit or visa.
With the influx of new faces this summer at The Bridge, it was somewhat lost in the shuffle that
one of our January signings has secured his move to London earlier then previously anticipated.

Baby-faced assasin
So it's been confirmed, Piazon has officially signed his contract with the club and already
begun training with the first team.
Early in the summer it seemed as though Ngog would head to Sunderland as part of the Jordan
Henderson deal, and even after that move fell through there never seemed any doubt he would find
his way out of Liverpool when the window was said and done. More recently, it was believed a
successful move to Bolton hinged only on Liverpool's ability to acquire a more seasoned backup
striker who wouldn't need the games the young Frenchman does to further develop.

Sebastian Coates signs with Liverpool:
We gave you the full overview of Liverpool's imposing new defender on Friday, but issues with
securing the work permit and that Nacional representatives flew to England to complete the deal
delayed his official signing. An hour ago, Uruguayan sources with contacts in the Coates camp
announced he had signed and was having his picture taken with a Liverpool shirt, and thirty minutes
later Luis Suarez beat the official site to the punch by announcing on Twitter and Facebook that
his friend Coates had indeed signed before quickly realising it hadn't been officially announced
yet and taking it down.

Coates Granted Preliminary Work Permit
Sebastian Coates has been granted a prelininary work permit to allow him to complete his move to
Liverpool today, it is understood. The Uruguay international was convinced to come to Anfield by
his compatriot, Luis Suarez. A preliminary permit is quick to obtain and allows the holder to work
within the respective country for no longer than 12 months.
Atletico Fail in Late Coates Approach
Atletico Madrid have made a late move to sign Sebastian Coates, despite the player being on the
verge of joining Liverpool. The 20-year-old remains free to talk to other suitors, but will rebuff
interest from La Liga to complete his Anfield move in the coming days.
Sebastian Coates to Join Liverpool
Club Nacional defender Sebastian Coates has opted to join Liverpool despite interest from
several other clubs including the Reds' Premier League rivals Manchester City. Luis Suarez
telephoned his compatriot to sell him a move to Anfield after a bid of around £7m was made earlier
this week, meeting Nacional's asking price.

The cup season is upon us once again as Bolton Wanderers open the Carling Cup against
Macclesfield Town at the Reebok. The Silkmen of League Two downed Hull City by a score of 2-0 to
reach the second round. Bolton will look to do better than they did last year when they were ousted
by Burnley in the third round.
The Sounders had a great win 1-0 on the road against FC Dallas this weekend. It puts the team
back in the hunt for the Supporter's Shield although the Los Angeles Galaxy would need to drop a
match or two. The man of the match was defender Zack Scott who did an admirable job in containing
Brek Shea.
This titan's reign may soon be over at Stamford Bridge. Alex has told Italian television he is
open to a move away from Chelsea.
apparently loves Italian football
I've sort of been resigned to Alex leaving the club for some time. He has been somewhat
marginalized in recent seasons despite some herculean performances, all of which have been well
documented around here.
As I write this, Arsenal Football Club stand on a precipice of doubt, a mountain range
of negativity, a continent of discontent.
In comparison to last summer, we have been positively flying in the transfer market, signing so
far no less than three first-team players with more promised.
The Japanese genius Ryo Miyaichi may only have a handful of senior competitive games under his belt
in Europe, but Arsene Wenger believes that he can have a "big impact" on Arsenal's push for the
Premiership title this season. The Gunners have secured a UK work permit for the 18 year-old, but
Wenger reveals that [.
Alejandro Bedoya is a big step closer to teaming with Maurice Edu at Rangers.
Bedoya was granted his work permit on Friday, giving the clearance for him to join the Scottish
club. While Rangers and the U.S. international midfielder agreed on a pre-contract deal to bring
him from Orebro in January, Rangers manager Ally McCoist wants to speed up the process now that the
biggest hurdle has been cleared.
Right then,
yesterday we had an actual new signing, yesterday we had, in Arsene's words, news about a player
who becomes "almost like a new signing". ALANS. Isn't that ironic?
Ryo Miyachi was granted a work permit under the 'exceptional talent' clause yesterday, causing
much happiness for the manager as he gets to add to his collection of young, but exceptionally
speedy, wide forwards.
This is probably the news that Arsene Wenger has been dying to hear more than any other this
summer, as he believes that the little Japanese star Ryo Miyaichi will be a more than adequate
replacement for Samir Nasri. Now that Miyaichi is in the squad Wenger can happily take the millions
on offer from [.
Liverpool have reportedly identified Dynamo Kiev defender Gerson Magrao as a potential summer
acquisition.
According to talkSPORT, the £5 million-rated Brazilian has been pinpointed by the Reds as a
possible replacement for Paul Konchesky, who recently left Merseyside for Leicester.
Konchesky moved to Anfield from Fulham a year ago, with then Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson
splashing out £4 million to secure the signature of the former England international.
Liverpool is looking to Sevilla's Diego Perotti to be the final piece of the jigsaw after a year of
investing in the squad.
Wingers are suddenly all the rage at Anfield as Kenny Dalglish seeks to supply as much ammunition
as possible to striker Andy Carroll. The £35m man has devastating aerial ability, a trait that
manager Kenny Dalglish is keen to exploit as much as possible as the Reds aim to return to the top
four of the Premier League and perhaps even the summit itself.
SBI is reporting that American midfielder Alejandro Bedoya is set to join Scottish giants
Rangers FC after agreeing to terms with the Glasgow-based club on Thursday.
Bedoya finalized a pre-contract with Rangers on Thursday. He will move on a free transfer and
begin a three-year contract with Rangers in January, provided he is able to secure a work
permit.
Scottish Premier League giants Rangers have announced the signing of U.S. international midfielder
Alejandro Bedoya, pending the approval of a work permit. Bedoya joins Maurice Edu in Glasgow where
Rangers have won three consecutive SPL titles, and continues the tradition of the likes of Claudio
Reyna and DaMarcus Beasley at the famed club.
