Internet's been down in the FootyBlog mansions recently, so we were unable to share the story of
the Anfield cat...
Apparently its a homeless cat named Kenny who is often spotted around the ground, but this was
the first time it made an appearance on the pitch at Anfield. A spoof Twitter was set up after the
game, reaching 25,000 followers the next day (is currently above 40,000!
Bookmakers William Hill have agreed a two-and-a-half year deal with The Football Association to
become an 'Official Supporter' of the England football team, and 'Official Supporter' and 'Official
Betting Partner' of the FA Cup.

Chances are you weren't keeping track of the second round of the William Hill Scottish Cup
yesterday, but Auchinleck Talbot thrashed Threave Rovers 8-1 a pasting that was so comprehensive
even Talbot's goalkeeper Andy Leishman got his name on the scoresheet, from all of 90 yards.
Only four Arsenal players would get into Spurs' team... and two of them are
injured!
ROBBIE'S STORY OF THE WEEK If you ever need the motivation to get in shape, I'd suggest posing
with your shirt off. I did it for William Hill this summer and thousands of cut-outs then appeared
in their stores across the country.
Nicolas Guevera has seemingly been caught up in the Team Who Cares fad and went all vampirish on
his opponent in the Argentine domestic league. More so, he looks a bit like a shark whose teeth
were caught in the steel mesh of a poor swimmer, ever so briefly.
What else is trendy? Who's going to be the first person to eschew the name on the back of their
shirt for a hashtag?

Borussia Dortmund v Arsenal
This looks like a tough start for the Gunners, especially on the back of their heavy defeat
at the hands of Manchester United in the Premier League. Current Bundesliga Champions
Borussia Dortmund are quietly fancied to do well in this season's Champions League
following some excellent performances in their domestic league last season.
An article has caught my eye today about Fernando Torres and after reading it, I really hope that
Torres proves this idiot wrong. We all know that Torres has had problems with scoring goals for us
for one reason or another, but this bloke has taken aim at Torres and Chelsea for that matter in
his article published in The Mirror today.

Well it has been a fascinating F1 season so far with Team Red Bull leaving everyone else in their
slip stream. Maybe though this weekend's British Grand Prix at Silverstone will be the start of the
fight back by McLaren , Ferrari and the others.
There's a naked broadcaster in your window! Recently retired Derby midfielder Robbie Savage looked
set for a career in radio, but it looks like the world of modelling could be calling. The
ex-Leicester City man has turned up in the window of bookmaker William Hill wearing nought but his
rather eye-catching swimshorts.
Brands are rushing to cash in on Europe's 'Super Bowl moment' when the Champions League final kicks
off at Wembley.
Liverpool and Manchester United are favourites to land Blackpool's Charlie Adam, according to
bookmakers William Hill.
The Scottish midfielder was relegated with the Tangerines after defeat to United at Old Trafford on
Sunday.
But after Adam scored a stunning free-kick at the Stretford End and following Sir Alex Ferguson's
comments earlier in the season that Adam's corners alone were worth £10 million, United have
jumped to the front of the queue, along with long-time admirers Liverpool.
A popular bet these days is the Next Premier League Manager To Leave market, with several firms
offering odds on the next top flight boss to either resign, to be sacked from their post.
Today has seen the odds of Harry Redknapp becoming the next Premier League manager to leave his
job tumble, with Victor Chandler's odds falling from 100-1 to 8-1.
