Just Football's Tales from Tier Two series, in
association with @tiertwofooty, concludes now with a look at the runaway leaders of the Dutch
Eerste Divisie:

FC Zwolle are in pole position to return to the Dutch Eredivisie eight years
since they were cruelly relegated after both Volendam and Vitesse claimed rare victories as Zwolle

Before this weekend's action, the MNT Blog cited three sets of games to keep an eye on involving
U.S. internationals. Here's how they fared, and what it now means:

Bayer Leverkusen defender Sami Hyypia has confirmed he will retire from playing at the end of the
Bundesliga season.
The ex-Liverpool man won a wealth of trophies during his time at Anfield and will take up a
coaching role with Leverkusen next term.
Hyypia, who joined the Reds from Willem II, helped the Merseysiders win the UEFA Champions League,
Uefa Cup, two FA Cups, two League Cups and two European Super Cups during his time at Anfield.
While a host of U.S. internationals are in action abroad this weekend - many facing relegation
challenges in England - there are three sets of results to keep a close eye on, including a
potential championship decider, a fight for an unprecedented berth in European competition, and a
chance to put to rest a relegation battle.
Whether you're looking for the passion of a derby, or the pressure of a Cup quarterfinal, or
even a chance to see the best team in the world, today's schedule of soccer matches has it all for
you.
Roma and Lazio will resume their Rome rivalry this morning, with Lazio trying to solidify its
hold on the fourth and final Champions League qualifying place in Serie A.
Former Liverpool defender Sami Hyypia is dreaming of a Europa League return to Anfield.
The Finnish centre back became a legend during his time on Merseyside, spending a decade with
Liverpool and skippering the side before Steven Gerrard took the armband.
Bayer Leverkusen signed the player on a free transfer in the summer of 2009, and Hyypia has enjoyed
a successful spell with the Bundesliga outfit thus far.
EINDHOVEN, Netherlands PSV Eindhoven took the lead in the Dutch Eredivisie with a 4-1 win over NAC
Breda on Sunday after Twente could only draw. PSV and defending champions Twente were level on 50
points ahead of their respective matches, but Fred Rutten's PSV side are now out in front with 53
points.

While Dimitar Berbatov has been stealing most of the headlines during Manchester United's
unbeaten league run, Mexican striker Javier Hernandez has also played a pivotal role, scoring seven
league goals and threatening Wayne Rooney for a starting role.
Hernandez should get another chance to work his magic today as Manchester United takes on
Southampton in FA Cup action.
Everybody is back in action now. Well, not everybody, but almost everybody that is normally
televised in America. You know, except the Americans. And the Argentines, I suppose. Still, most
everybody is back now. The television schedule is pretty full up again, anyway.
Despite the fact that almost everybody is back, there are no matches this weekend between WCR
Top 25 Clubs.
