Don't normally get all political here (unless it involves public financing of private sporting ventures), but today some* of you may have noticed the black bar over Google's logo today. Or Wikipedia going 'dark'.

That's because today is an U.S.-wide initiative to oppose SOPA, the Stop Online Piracy Act, and its sister legislation, PIPA.

Lots of websites are going 'black' today, Wikipedia for example, to protest against proposed new laws in the USA which will make everyone have to connect to the internet through AOL with all their family filters turned on.

Former Montreal Impact MVP David Testo announced yesterday that he is gay.

It's a game so famous it has its own wikipedia entry, but for all I knew at the time it was business as usual in England.

Who doesn't love the Wikipedia game? (Employers, actually, but work with me.) Start out somewhere random and hours later, land somewhere even more random after 42,817 clicks of the mouse. Like starting at Anis Ben-Hatira and ending at Mata Hari.
