Olympique Lyonnais vs. SM Caen
Week 23 – Ligue 1
What an AWESOME start to the year! Six wins, one well fought out draw and a marginal 1-0 loss in
8 matches since January. 8 matches in which Lyon has scored 19 goals.
As you know, Sounder at Heart does not have any official supporters' group affiliation. We do,
however, consider ourselves friends of most of them. If you'd like to know any of them better, we
highly recommend that you attend one of their two end-of-year parties. As it turns out, Kasey
Keller is scheduled to be at both of them.
...It just doesn't look the same without Elaines wonderful art, does it?
And the Azzurri side doesn't look the same without Antonio Cassano, Guiseppe Rossi or Sebastian
Giovinco either...:(
Anyways, heres the lineups and whatnot for tonights game, heres to a good start to the Euro 2012
preparations!
The Sounders nemesis comes to Starfire today. They visit the only place where they struggle
against Seattle as the Los Angles Galaxy have dominated the Rave Green in league play. But, in the
US Open Cup Seattle had a 2-0 victory last year. Sigi Schmid's men look to extend their semifinal
appearance streak to 5 straight years across two different leagues.
Who's ready for France tomorrow? Let's make sure all those tubes at work and whatnot are tuned in
to make some new soccer fans...Since we're talking Women's World Cup and there's no Who likes
goals? this week, let's start with this nasty Route 1 finish from England's Ellen White.England 2-0

By the power of Grayskull. We could do with a win here. There've been some
rather miserable looking clouds drawing in on the followers of Hotspur in recent times and nothing
but the recovery of three points will lead us into the light and on our way again. No use lingering
on the facts now, but it's safe to say that the heady mix of a cup exit and a spectacularly
disappointing end to the transfer window in the space of two days does not a happy yid make.
So Philly's being all coy & whatnot by stonewalling on the identity of five trialists they have in
camp right now. But a pair of them have been IDed by some local soccer sleuths and one of them is
none other than American soccer's prodigal son/FC Delco product Jeremiah White. Surprising, but a
good get if Philly can keep him.
