I'll keep this address as an archive of good times-past and as a parachute in case both you and I
agree that the new look is whack in the long run.
Pretty much the only thing that is changing is the layout/user experience, which is kind of a big
deal but not really.
Things are going to get real weird around here in a little while & you may well hate me for it.
Been MIA for a few days; was busy trying to come to grips with the fact that Kasey Keller is
retiring and that the new Justice record is basically weak. Don't think I missed anything though,
did I?
While caught up in all that it somehow came out that there is an @TheOffsideRules Twitter account.

Lost my brother a year ago today and feeling kinda.....feeling alot actually. Talk among
yourselves.
I'm on vacation this week so unless Big Name Player X signs with the league expect very little from
me other than BBQing, beach bumming and generally lounging around. Before I go though check out
this superb fan-made video on the Fire's prior U.S. Open Cup glory. Good stuff from the men & women
of Section 8.
Sorry y'all. Blogger was down for a day so I couldn't do a damn thing for a minute there. But I'm
back now (or at least until their next server disaster).
I think it might be high time I move on from Blogger but then again I think keeping this thing
low-budget keeps me from thinking it's anything more than what it is or that I'm anything greater
than SF.
Yesterday sucked and I think it's because I'm paying penance for being an ass at times on this
blog. I've taken some shots at people over the years and now that they're coming my way I have to
sack up and recognize that. So since lists are so hot right now here's 5 of the people I'd like to
apologize to (in no particular order):
- Taylor Twellman: I know you're an opinionated sports guy yourself and get being a fan but I
went overboard on you at times in your playing days (and not even in the most artful manner).
In A.C. today and tomorrow. Y'all have fun without me and I'll see you Wednesday.

CAPITALIZATION. IT COULD WELL BE BECAUSE THIS IS, TO SOME, A SOCCER BLOG AND THAT'S WHAT MANY OF US
SOCCER BLOGGERS DO: YELL AND MAKE NOISE ABOUT ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING WHETHER IT NEEDS TO BE A BIG
DEAL OR NOT BECAUSE, JUST LIKE TNT, WE KNOW DRAMA.
Now that the off-season is over can the pre-season please be over too? I. Am. Bored. I'm at that
point in the calendar year where there is nothing worth blogging about because there is nothing
going on with the teams except beep-tests and 8v8 games. Ugh.
Can we please get a juicy transfer or a paternity scandal sometime soon because I am dangerously
close to blogging just to say I did.
Not that I assume anyone is looking for, but you can find me here, over here and over here for the
