This week's non-league videos of the week features four matches from the Second Round of the FA
Trophy. With only thirty-two teams left in the competition at this stage, the scent of a Wembley
final is starting to drift into the air, and our four matches tonight feature twenty-five goals.
First up is a match between two clubs that are owned by their supporters, as Ebbsfleet United of
the Blue Square Premier play Chester of the Northern Premier League.
A trip to Wembley is starting to come into view for the non-league clubs that are still involved
in this year's FA Trophy, but yesterday's First Round matches saw the qualifiers from the last
round joined by the clubs of the Blue Square Premier and we have highlights and goals from no less
than seven of yesterday's matches.
We have five matches for you this week as our non-league videos of the week. First up is the
match from the Blue Square Premier between Ebbsfleet United and a club that has been having renewed
difficulties off the pitch again, Darlington. Next up are the goals from the Blue Square North
match between Altrincham and Gloucester City.

9781408130407 It's often been asserted that the one remaining advantage mainstream media has over
bloggers is the issue of access to the game's personalities – Jonathan Wilson made this point on
establishing The Blizzard earlier this year and Kevin McCauley expounded on the subject in an
overview of a spat

We have six matches for you as non-league videos of the week, from three different competitions.

Gateshead, and Mansfield Town and Alfreton Town. Next up, we have three matches from the First
Qualifying Round of the FA Trophy, the matches between Bedworth United and Hednesford Town,
Dartford and Truro City, and Weymouth and AFC Totton.

We have two posts making up our non-league videos of the week for this week, kicking off with
three matches from the Third Qualifying Round of this year's FA Cup. The clubs taking this part in
this round of the competition will take their place against those of the Blue Square Premier in its
final qualifying round, and should they win this match they will be have a chance of a live
television appearance and the sort of prize money which can make a serious difference to the
well-being of a non-league club.

It was Non-League Day this weekend, as you will all now be thoroughly aware, so to close up on
this it's time for this week's Non-League Videos Of The Week, this week featuring no fewer than six
matches, from the Blue Square Premier, the Blue Square South, the Northern Premier League, the
Southern League and the FA Cup.
The non-league season the Isthmian League aside started yesterday, and we're delighted to be
able to bring you highlights of four matches this evening, one from the Blue Square Premier, two
from the Blue Square South and one from the Premier Division of the Southern League. The first
match is between Hayes & Yeading United and Alfreton Town.

The Southern Premier League has a new sponsor this year, the same one as its northern
counterpart so make sure you don't confuse the two. Helpful. Anyway, teamwise the biggest relief
for those footballers who get car sick is that Truro have been promoted, so that's one afternoon
spent on the M5 looking at the back of caravans which teams and fans alike won't have to
endure.
Non-league football is often described as a family, and one of its more recurring themes is that
certain names have a tendency to turn up over and over again, like half-forgotten uncles at a
reunion. Take, for example, Gary Calder. Calder was the chairman of Hornchurch FC when their money
suddenly ran out towards the end of 2004 and he pitched up some time after this at Weymouth, as the
Chief Executive of the club.
On Saturday, Weymouth beat Salisbury City by two goals to nil in the Zamaretto League Premier
Division. It was a significant moment for the Terras. Having started the season under a ten point
deduction for entering into administration towards the end of last season, they had spent the whole
of this season rooted to the bottom of the table but this win their third in the last four matches
lifted them out of the relegation places for the first time this season.
