sell their top players if they end up being relegated at the end of the season. Co-owner

Ham have agreed to sign Manchester City defender Wayne
Bridge on loan.
According to Sky Sports News, Newcastle are interested in signing
Tottenham midfielder David Bentley. This month Tottenham have
been looking to sell the 26-year-old as oppose to loaning him out.
Bentley has already attracted the interest of Fulham, West
Ham, and Aston Villa so far.
UPDATE: According to Birmingham's official website, Birmingham
have backed out of the deal to sign Tottenham striker Robbie
Keane due to his wage demands. Chairman Peter Pannu said,
"I met with Alex and Paul today to discuss some new targets - names that we will not be
mentioning at this moment in time - as we have decided that the signing of Keane would not be in
the best financial interests of the club.
