According to Greg O'Keeffe at the Daily Post, Everton are looking to raise about £11million to sign Wigan Athletic midfielder Charles N'Zogbia. Everton hope to raise the funds by selling Joseph Yobo and Ayegbeni Yakubu but are having problems doing so.

UPDATE: According to West Ham United's official website, West Ham United have completed the signing of Gary O'Neil. O'Neil signed a two-and-a-half year deal with the club.

January 24th, 2011:Â According to Middlesbrough's official website, West Ham have agreed to an undisclosed fee for Middlesbrough midfielder Gary O'Neil.

UPDATE: According to Birmingham's official website, Birmingham have backed out of the deal to sign Tottenham striker Robbie Keane due to his wage demands. Chairman Peter Pannu said,

"I met with Alex and Paul today to discuss some new targets - names that we will not be mentioning at this moment in time - as we have decided that the signing of Keane would not be in the best financial interests of the club.

According to Sky Sports News, Newcastle are interested in signing Tottenham midfielder David Bentley. This month Tottenham have been looking to sell the 26-year-old as oppose to loaning him out.

Bentley has already attracted the interest of Fulham, West Ham, and Aston Villa so far.

According to ESPN Soccernet, Liverpool were unable to afford West Ham striker Carlton Cole because a deal to sell Ryan Babel to Tottenham fell through.

Due to their lack of funds, Liverpool offered to sign Carlton Cole on loan until January for £1million and they were willing to send Ryan Babel to West Ham on loan for the same time period.

According to Marseille's official website (link in French), Marseille have confirmed the signing Nice striker Loic Remy. Remy signed a five-year deal with the club.

The deal is thought to be around £12.4million for the young striker, who was linked with Arsenal, Liverpool, Stoke City, and West Ham.

According to Pete O'Rourke at Sky Sports News, West Ham United are prepared to sell their top players if they end up being relegated at the end of the season. Co-owner David Gold said,

"It's unfair to tell a player to forego your potential England career to come down and play in the Championship .

According to West Ham United's official website, West Ham United have completed the signing of Tottenham striker Robbie Keane. Keane's deal with the club is initially for six months but will increase to two years if the club avoids relegation.

According to the Independent, Fiorentina are still hopeful in signing West Ham United midfielder Valon Behrami despite recently having a bid rejected. Fiorentina club administrator Sandro Mencucci said,

UPDATE: According to ESPN Soccernet, West Ham United striker Frederic Piquionne is not for sale. Owner David Gold said,

"He's not for sale ... This club is fighting for its life. It's got to change what it's been doing.

According to Ken Dyer at the London Evening Standard, West Ham United made a loan offer for Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor that the 26-year-old turned down. West Ham were prepared to pay Adebayor £100-a-week in wages with Man City paying the remaining £80,000-a-week.

According to Swansea City's official website, Swansea City have signed West Ham United striker Mark Nouble on loan until December 19th.

According to West Ham United's official website, West Ham United midfielder Scott Parker has signed a new four-year deal with the club with a further one-year option. Parker said,

August 31st 2010: According to ESPN Soccernet, Liverpool are willing to add Ryan Babel in a deal for striker Carlton Cole.

According to ESPN Soccernet, Tottenham have made a £7million + player (thought to be either Robbie Keane or Jermaine Jenas) bid for West Ham United midfielder Scott Parker. However it is reported that the cash offered is nowhere close to West Ham's valuation of Parker.

UPDATE: According to West Ham United's official website, West Ham United have completed the signing of Inter Milan striker Victor Obinna on a season-long loan.

August 25th 2010 According to Sky Sports News, Inter Milan striker Victor Obinna is set to take a medical for West Ham United as the two clubs have agreed on a deal.

According to West Ham United's official website, West Ham United have sent attacker Alessandro Diamanti to Brescia Calcio for 2.2million Euros. Also if Brescia stays in the Serie A, then West Ham will receive an additional 300,000 Euros.

According to the Daily Post, Everton have rejected a second bid from West Ham United for Yakubu. It is reported that the second bid was actually £5million, which was £1milion less than there original bid of £5million.

UPDATE: According to West Ham United's official website, West Ham United have completed the signing of Winston Reid for an undisclosed fee. Reid signed a three-year deal with the club.

August 4th 2010 According to Sky Sports News, West Ham United have agreed to a deal with FC Midtjylland for defender Winston Reid.

UPDATE: According to West Ham's official website, West Ham United have signed Portsmouth defender Tal Ben Haim on loan until January.

It is also reported that the club hopes to complete another signing within the next 72 hours.

UPDATE: According to Santos FC's official website, Santos received a bid from Chelsea for Neymar that they rejected. A statement was made saying,

"Santos FC states that received in the late morning of Tuesday (20), an official offer from Chelsea FC of England striker's economic rights Neymar.

UPDATE: According to Sky Sports News, Birmingham are interested in signing free agent midfielder Juan Riquelme. However the club might have a hard time signing the 32-year-old as his former team, Boca Juniors, are interested in signing him again.

According to Alan Nixon and Tom Hopkinson at The People, Stoke City are preparing to make an £8million bid for West Ham United striker Carlton Cole.

However it is reported that Stoke boss Tony Pulis would like to find out more about Cole's health before making a bid.

According to West Bromwich's official website, 23-year-old West Bromwich midfielder Graham Dorrans signed a new four-year deal with the club that will keep him there until 2015.

West Ham United supposedly made several bids for Dorrans this summer that were rejected.

UPDATE: According to ESPN Soccernet, Nice have not yet received an offer from Liverpool for Remy and the clubs plan on holding talks with Remy on Monday. Nice president Gilbert Stellardo told L'Equipe,

"For the moment we're stuck with the status quo, but if (Liverpool make an offer) things will be done swiftly .

UPDATE: According to the Daily Mail, West Ham United have agreed to a deal to sign Portsmouth defender Tal Ben Haim. It is reported that West Ham originally offered Ben Haim £30,000-a-week in wages, which was £8,000-a-week short of his current contract.
