According to reports in the British media, West Ham United have bought Andy Carroll from Liverpool for around £15m. Now West Ham have to do is agree personal terms with Carroll.

Carroll had been on loan to West Ham all season, where Carrol scored seven goals in an injury riddled season. But when he was healthy, Carroll showed how good a player he is.

Having already wrapped up the Premier League title, Manchester United capped off a wonderful campaign with an extraordinary 5-5 draw against West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns. United twice led by a three-goal margin, but the home side – inspired by Romelu Lukaku's second-half hat-trick – managed to battle back each time.

And so, even in the dying embers of its latest edition, the Premier League didn't fail in living up to expectations, signing off the 2012-13 season in incredible fashion.

The first 5-5 draw of its era, a nail-biting hunt for fourth spot between Tottenham and Arsenal and a handsome helping of 36 goals across 10 fixtures all made for a very entertaining finale to the Premier League campaign.

West Ham United have enjoyed a great first season back in the top flight this year under the guidance of Sam Allardyce.

As the season nears its end, the Hammers will hope to maintain a top ten finish and potentially push even further up the table in the next few weeks.

With no early or late kick-off, today's Premier League matches take on an unusual twist by having seven matches all played at once. It's a good day for multi-tasking, but a bad time for trying to savor every minute of the best matches.

The biggest match of the day is arguably Queens Park Rangers against Stoke City in a relegation battle at Loftus Road.

So even switching Wayne Rooney from his natural striker position to a more playmaker role does not affect the continuously victories for Manchester United, as the Reds stepped closer to their 20th Premier League title.

Brendan Rodgers' first season at Liverpool has been a mixed bag. The side have been in and out of form all season. They have been eliminated from all cup competitions and don't look to be a true contender for European football.

Three Premier League matches featuring England's top teams highlight Wednesday's soccer action.

Manchester City hosts Wigan Athletic, with both sides needing to win for different reasons. City wants to keep their title hopes alive, while Wigan needs to win to get themselves out of the relegation zone, where they currently sit in 18th place.

Manchester United are looking to get three more points closer to their needed seven that will clinch another English Premier League title in dominant style this season.

The Red Devils travel to London this afternoon where they will face off against West Ham United at Upton Park it what is certain to be a tough battle for the club.

West Ham United play host to Manchester United on Wednesday in a Premier League clash that could bring the Red Devils within touching distance of yet another EPL title, while a positive result for the Hammers would all but solidify their place in the top flight next season.

West Ham started the season strong, but have fallen off in the second half mainly due to a lack of talent on the front line. According to TalkSport on Apr. 8, 2013, the Hammers are hoping to procure some firepower over the summer.

In the final fixture of the weekend, Manchester United swiftly quashed any ideas that Manchester City might have had to slow the Red Devils' run to the title after dealing Robert Mancini's men a 2-1 defeat at Old Trafford in their Monday night encounter.

French striker Loic Remy has only played eight matches so far this season for Queens Park Rangers, but while he hasn't been able to turn around the club's form, he has achieved an impressive five goals in eight league appearances.

Remy's prowess in front of goal is something to marvel, similar to Demba Ba's clinical scoring when he played with West Ham United even though he wasn't able to help them stay up two seasons ago.

Liverpool and West Ham culminated in a stalemate, but the scoreline may not have been indicative of the final result. Luis Suarez, Philippe Coutinho and Steven Gerrard all provided the creative punch to pin back West Ham in their own end forcing last-ditch efforts from James Tomkins, Jack Collison and Gary O'Neil.

West Ham United have agreed a fee of around £15 million to sign striker Andy Carroll from Liverpool.

The England striker had been on loan at West Ham from Liverpool during the 2012-13 season. And despite his injury-prone season, the footballer still managed to score 7 goals in 22 league appearances for the Hammers.

"Playing the right way" is a commentary that has become more and more prevalent among the media and fans in recent years. Style is everything to many, and merely playing for results is considered by some a crisis of morality. The desire of many elites to put personal preferences as far as playing style and aesthetics on the football pitch ahead of results and practical tactical play has become an alarming trend from where I sit over the past five years.

Fulham have signed a deal with adidas to be their official kit supplier beginning with the 2013-14 season.

The Cottagers are switching from Kappa to adidas. Fulham have worn adidas shirts throughout their history between 1977 and 1981, and 1997 and 2003, with many of them being memorable kits.

If you missed any of the seven matches in the Premier League today, watch the match highlights below. While the games weren't as exciting as the final day of the Championship season, for good reason, there was still plenty to enjoy.

There was one match, in particular, that was my match of the day that opened up the entire battle to avoid relegation.

Poor Joe Hart. The Manchester City goalkeeper had a day not to remember today when West Ham United striker Andy Carroll took a shot, only for the ball to embarrassingly go under Joe Hart's legs and into the back of the net.

Carroll brilliantly chested the ball down to create space and then unleashed a shot right at Joe Hart, but the ball crept between his legs.

On a rather disappointing day in the Premier League, there still were some interesting highlights including red cards, an attempted own goal from 40 yards, clubs heading closer to relegation, and fisting-pumping managers.

At 2:45pm ET, West Ham United plays Manchester United at Upton Park. This will be a stern test for Hammers boss Sam Allardyce. While the Hammers should be safe enough to stay in the league this season, Big Sam will want his team to put in a good performance against a quality side in order to help his chances of getting a contract renewal.

One of my favorite television shows is The IT Crowd, a irreverent British program that lampoons a team of computer technicians who work in the basement of a typical modern company.
