According to the Express and Star, West Bromwich are the favorites to sign
Manchester United goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak, who looks set to
leave this summer due to a lack of playing time. Unfortunately there will be tough competition as
teams like Tottenham and Arsenal could be looking to sign goalkeepers.
According to Christopher Lepkowski at the Birmingham Mail, West Bromwich do not
plan on selling top striker Peter Odemwingie unless they receive a monster offer.
Manager Roy Hodgson said,
"He's a good player and we would like to keep him here .
According to ESPN Soccernet, West Bromwich boss Roy Hodgson
admitted that he would like to make several signings this summer. Hodgson said,
"I think we need to make some improvements to the squad if we do stay up. We need to be looking
very carefully at how we are going to improve this squad .

Peter Odemwingie admitted that he is happy at the club and wants to stay despite
the rumors that he is drawing interest from other clubs. Odemwingie said,

have agreed to sign Arsenal striker Carlos Vela on loan.

Vela on loan.

Youssouf Mulumbu has signed a new two-and-a-half year deal with the club with a
further one year club option.
UPDATE: According to Stoke City's official website, Stoke City
have completed the signing of striker John Carew on loan for the rest of the
season.
January 20th, 2011: According to Sky Sports News, Aston Villa
striker John Carew has passed a medical as he appears set to join Stoke
City.

interested in AS Monaco striker Dieumerci Mbokani.
However it is reported that while West Bromwich have talked to Monaco, talks are very premature
for the 25-year-old.
