Legend. Arsenal true blue. Competitor. Finisher extraordinaire.
You couldn't write a better script for Thierry Henry to end his England return. An added time
goal for the winner against Sunderland. A bookend to the bookend he installed with his instant
winner against Leeds. Both Wenger's subs made massive contributions to the victory as Aaron Ramsey
scored the equalizer and Andrey Arshavin sent in a pinpoint cross to Henry lurking in front of goal
to elevate his leg and guide the ball past Simon Mignolet.
It was originally forecast that Jack Wilshere would be returning to the Arsenal team in late
January, but just as he looked close to full fitness again it was revealed in a scan that the 18
year-old had yet another small bone broken in his foot, But today Wenger has revealed that Wilshere
is going [.

What a game in store for us this afternoon. As was said earlier this week a barometer game. A
resurgent Sunderland looking to continue their very surprising run against an Arsenal team
confident as a result of last week's big win.
And yet, in my opinion both appear to be skating on thin ice.
My brain is an arsehole. "Just one gigantic whiskey before you go to bed. Go on!"
I need to stop listening to my brain although I'm not sure who I should listen to in that case.
I guess it's another reason why I've always been a fan of butlers. "Should I have one gigantic
whiskey before I go to bed, Carmichael?
Arsenal have definitely missed Kieran Gibbs. He isn't Arsenal's best Left-Back, personally I
believe Santos is, but what a refreshing idea to actually have a LB in the LB position! However
there are still some problems with the guy that needs to be sorted out... Gibbs has a lot of
potential. Wenger wouldn't have him [.
Thierry Henry
Position: Striker
Age: 34
Birth Date: Aug 17, 1977 Birth Place: Paris, France
Height: 1.85m (6'1″) Weight: 83.2 kg (183 lbs)
Thierry Henry has returned to play for the Gunners on loan from the New York Red Bulls of
MLS.
Sunderland manager Martin O'Neill has backed tomorrow's opponents Arsenal to silence their
critics, making it clear that the Gunners have sufficient talent to prevail at the Stadium of
Light.
Arsene Wenger's men are three points adrift of fourth-place Chelsea and have relied heavily on
the incredible form of skipper Robin van Persie, who scored a brilliant hat-trick in last weekend's
7-1 rout of Blackburn.
This is what the new Arsenal home shirt for next season looks like, Arsenalinsider can
exclusively reveal. As in previous years, we have been given the first sneak peak at how Arsene
Wenger's players will look in the latest offering from the club and manufacturers Nike.
We've been right every time in the past and we stand by this image, such is the strength of
belief in our source.

The little Mexican wizard Carlos Vela is very happy to be on loan at Real Sociedad in Spain, and it
was revealed this week that he is set to ask Arsene Wenger to allow him to stay away from the
Emirates and continue playing for the La Liga minnows. Now today he has explained his [...]
Right then, after a week which has been dominated by two craggy faced managers (so much so that
Fabio Capello was in my post-apocalyptic dream last night wearing a gigantic gold hooped earring),
it's time to turn our attention to the stuff that really matters.
Arsenal play Sunderland tomorrow and under Martin O'Neill they've been about 61 times better
than they were under Mrs Doubtfire.
Arsene Wenger is preparing the Arsenal team for a testing week ahead with three crucial away
fixtures in eight days in three different competitions, and he is happy that now new injuries
happened in last weeks win over Blackburn. He said: "Everybody should be available for Saturday and
we have no new injuries that's [.

Real Madrid wants Robin Van Persie. Look at my face: I am not happy right now.
Rather than just writing one opinion piece, I typically try to gather as much information from
around the World Wide Web and condense it with my own commentary added. This week we've got Real
Madrid pursuing Van Persie, Mourinho gunning for Arsene's job, Kieran Gibbs returns from a long
layoff to strengthen the defense, and a hobbled Jack Wilshere all torn up about England's national
team losing its coach just months before the Euro 2012.
Some players want to leave, Arsenal will be going places this summer, the English NT is filled
with jerks... your usual cup of Arse here at the Offside
We start today's blog with a subject Arsenal fans are always delighted to hear about: player
departures. Park Chu-Young has indicated that if keeps getting ignored for play action, he might
leave in the summer.
The football world already has it all planned out: fans, players, ex-players, pundits and
journalists alike all want Harry Redknapp to replace Fabio Capello as England manager, following
the Italian's resignation yesterday evening.
Some were already looking beyond Euro 2012 Capello had already planned to retire after this
summer's tournament to the Redknapp era, convinced he would be the man for the job at some
point.
There appears to be a split amongst Gooners at the moment that an Olympic gymnast would be very
proud of.
So when I pose the question; is Tomas Rosicky worth a new contract at Arsenal? I expect many
differences of opinion.
In the past Tomas has frustrated me. Not because I think he is a bad player but because during his
time at the club he has spent at least 78% of it in the physio room.
In recent transfer windows and recent seasons we constantly hear Wenger and the Board remind us
that we are building a team for the future, a club for the 21st century, one that
does things differently promotes from within and doesn't need to pay huge transfer fees to
compete.
Some fans have countered this reasoning (fairly) that without a present the future means
nothing, and that the future has as little guarantee as signing a £50million striker or a
£35million striker depending on which team you prefer laughing at the most.
Arsenal are now just three points behind Chelsea in the coveted fourth place in the Premiership, so
a win is an absolute must this weekend at Sunderland, but with the (perhaps more important?)
Champions League tie against AC Milan coming up in midweek, Wenger will be considering his team
selection very carefully.

Slowly some of those long standing absences are working their way back into the Arsenal squad
and not a moment too soon. The latest update has Kieran Gibbs ready and available for next week's
Arsenal Champions League first leg against AC Milan if Wenger so desires. Thomas Vermaelen stuck at
left back might finally get some relief and relocate to his more familiar centre back role with
Laurent Koscielny.

Arsenal does not really do transitional seasons, or does it? Somehow, through the magic of
Wenger, we have been able to rebuild squads and first teams without losing sight of silverware and
European football in every single season the Frenchman has been at the helm.
There's something beautifully eerie about Arsenal's Emirates stadium when it experiences a night
of snowfall. It almost looks like a scene out of the Twilight Zone and the colour
of the sky just takes you to a different place. What are these goose pimples? Bring back
November, please!
There's a story about David Bentley. When he went to Norwich on loan from Arsenal they were in a
training session and he, thinking he was some kind of comedic genius, belted the ball straight up
into the air and said 'ave it!', like Peter Kay in that ad for John Smiths. Nobody thought it was
funny, least of the all Norwich manager.
Arsenal may have impressed everyone with their 7-1 demolition of Blackburn at the weekend, but
before that they had only earned one point from their previous four games. Theo Walcott was one of
the players pinpointed by Arsenal fans as being out of sorts during that run, and the England
international thinks it is unfair [.
Arsene Wenger is well aware that Jack Wilshere should not have played around 50 games in his first
season at Arsenal, which has led to him being injured for the whole of this season, and he is
worried about making the same mistake with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. The Arsenal manager said:
"That's what happened to us [.
Morning all, some interesting quotes from Arsene Wenger appeared in a Belgian newspaper
yesterday. For those that wish to cream yourselves on the bits about Eden Hazard, he had this to
say:
I like him a lot, and for several reasons. His creativity, his ability to unbalance the
opposition, his vision and his consummate art of giving the final ball make him a player coveted by
many.
Arsenal will tour the Far East taking in Seoul, Beijing and Hong Kong in the summer, it can be
revealed.
Gunners chiefs are in talks with Far East parties to finalise the jaunt having already sealed a
deal to play a friendly match in Nigeria.
With exposing the brand to global markets key to Arsenal's business strategy, gone are the days
when Arsène Wenger could take the squad to Austria to take the Alpine air and prepare for the
season ahead.

Andrei Arshavin has not appeared for Arsenal since he came on as a sub against Man United, which
sparked a barrage of booing against Arsene Wenger as the Russian walked on the pitch. Arsenal fans
had been severely critical of the 30 year-old this season anyway after a series of lacklustre and
lazy-looking performances for [.
Arsenal legends Dennis Bergkamp and Tony Adams are squaring up for a head-to-head clash – with
the winner securing a coaching role at the Emirates.
The former Gunners are frontrunners to replace Steve Bould within the coaching staff at the club
at the end of the season.
Bould is poised to replace the retiring Pat Rice as Arsene Wenger's No.

Well, we kind of had an idea that Arsenal were playing well but not getting the results. It was
a matter of details according to Arteta, Wenger, and others. It all came good in this one as
Blackburn were the hapless victims of a rampant Arsenal side.
Chance conversion was another issue which was put to bed, at least temporarily, with 7 out of 8
shot on target registering on the scoreboard.
A first win of 2012, seven goals, a striker in the form of his life, and one of the most
exciting young talents in the country. Finally a day really worth cheering about.
The emergence of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, in particular, is great news for the club. In recent
times Arsene Wenger seemed to have lost his touch with bringing in exceptional young talents, with
the likes of Diaby, Denilson and Walcott not fulfilling their potential, and the most exciting
player, Wilshere, coming up through the club's academy.
