This letter from Nicolas Sarkozy's office requesting a box at Croke Park on the weekend kicks off
what may be the great diplomatic blowup since WWII. Some, all or none if this may be true/legit.
What's inarguable is that it's fantastically hilarious. Well wishes for bike accident victim Carlo
Cudicini.

Jimmy just after the collision Saturday with Panama's Blas Perez. Image from Daylife, found through
The Original Winger.
Just got off the phone with Jimmy Conrad, and he says he's feeling better. No more grogginess just
sitting around, but he can't get his heart rate up just yet. He told HR he suffered a concussion

For those of you that follow this blog, you have notice a drastic drop in activity. I am
flattered by the well-wishes that have been sent by my throngs of fans. Actually, nobody sent

exchange is later on today (see some presents wrapped on the table), so we might be back with
details of that if there are any gifts worth posting in this space.

It's a pretty light day in transfer news and rumors, which is a little surprising seeing as how
we're in the thick of the week. But, there are still a good few tidbits to report on from around
Europe. Before I get started, I'd like to give well-wishes (and so should all of [...]

Read the following article from ESPN Soccernet's Kristian Dyer about Coach Onalfo's successful
battle with cancer when he was 24 years old.
Today, another cancer survivor, Westin Funk came out to practice at CommunityAmerica Ballpark with
his mother and two friends. Westin got some points from midfielder Kerry Zavagnin during practice
and then the rest of the guys came over and signed autographs for him and his friends.

Greetings again friends, busy morning so far at Hillcrest Road. This story is slightly different
than what we're used to here, but it is definitely worthwhile.
An 8-year-old Kansas Citian and Wizards fan named Brenden found out recently that he had a large
cyst on his brain. Brenden has been accepted to the neurology team at Children's Mercy and is
currently an outpatient awaiting further tests.
