Congratulations to Kickapoo for not only pulling off the 19th annual Shootout, put doing it
extremely well when it would have been very easy to cancel the event in the face of the major
storms and flooding that occurred in the area. The mix of local and visiting teams was well
balanced, bringing large crowds and good games.

UPDATE (1:40 pm) Kickapoo vs Kearney moved to 3:30 pm at Harrison Stadium while Parkview vs
Eureka moved to 5:30 pm at Kickapoo. Catholic game canceled and they move to the winner's bracket
against Glendale/Liberty winner tomorrow while Sedalia Smith-Cotton joins the tournament and will
play in the Loser's bracket against the Glendale/Liberty loser at 8:30 am.

regulation play included an own goal on Glendale and a goal by #13, Chris Maddox. Jeff Dorhauer
nailed a PK after Rayder Bennett got taken out in the box with about 4 minutes left to go in the
first overtime.
