This season has not started the best for Everton, so far they have been unable to recapture the form they showed last season in the league and  sit a lowly 13th. Couple this with two heavy defeats and the hands of Benfica in the Europa league and things aren't looking so rosy for David Moyes and his men.

Inter Bottom of Group F

Serie A Talk 21 October @ 07:01 AM EST

Inter Milan drew 2-2 at home to Dynamo Kiev in a game that saw them behind twice and could have ended in defeat. Inter Milan are now at the Bottom of group F and only have one remaining home game left to play.

Although it is true that Inter are at the bottom of the group they have 3 points from 3 games but it is not quite as bad as it sounds with the other 3 teams all being tied on 4 points.

Tonight though is the meeting of the two European giants AC Milan and Real Madrid which looks like being the tastiest double header in the Champions League this season.

It wasn't all plain sailing though and QPR proved they were no pushovers. They went in front on the 7th minute after a mistake from Jose Enrique allowed Ben Watson to slide the ball past Steve Harper.

August Player of the Month

The month of August was not a fun one for the Wizards, KC went 0-4 in the month of August, allowing 10 goals, while scoring 0. Real Salt Lake comes into town this weekend after trouncing Chivas USA on Wednesday. That's a perfect recipe for disaster for a team like the Wizards that has scored ONE goal in it's last 6 games (7 if you count the loss vs. Seattle for the US Cup).

On the road again and hoping for a goal

The Offside - Kansas City Wizards 21 August @ 02:52 PM EST

The Wizards are running out of time to right the ship and try to make a run up the table. They visit the Earthquakes in a match between teams that certainly had higher expectations for the 2009 than what they have been able to achieve up to now.

I liked the effort and the passing from KC last weekend (they tried to get away from "everything is a long ball" style of play) but their finishing let them down and they got shut out once again.
