AC Milan weren't the busiest in the summer transfer window with many of their targets not
getting released from their clubs. After Kaka left the club it was expected that Milan would use
the money received to reinvest in players and strengthen the squad but the biggest name player to
sign was Klass-Jan Huntelar who has failed to score for the club and has received very little
playing time since his move from Real Madrid in the summer.

This season has not started the best for Everton, so far they have been unable to recapture the
form they showed last season in the league and  sit a lowly 13th. Couple this with two heavy
defeats and the hands of Benfica in the Europa league and things aren't looking so rosy for David
Moyes and his men.

There is no doubt that on his day Zlatan Ibrahimovic is one of the most talented footballers in
the world but often he is criticised for being lazy and unproductive so his transfer to Barcelona
was met with doubt by some Barcelona fans. However the Swedish striker has played well since his
move from Inter Milan and has been a stand out player in a Barcelona shirt this season.

Inter Milan drew 2-2 at home to Dynamo Kiev in a game that saw them behind twice and could have
ended in defeat. Inter Milan are now at the Bottom of group F and only have one remaining home game
left to play.
Although it is true that Inter are at the bottom of the group they have 3 points from 3 games
but it is not quite as bad as it sounds with the other 3 teams all being tied on 4 points.

Last night saw mixed fortunes for Spanish sides as Sevilla made it three wins from three in the
Champions League this season but Barcelona lost 2-1 at home to Rubin Kazan and was probably the
most unexpected result of the night, in a night that produced more than one surprise scoreline.
Tonight though is the meeting of the two European giants AC Milan and Real Madrid which looks
like being the tastiest double header in the Champions League this season.

that a handful of Premiership teams are interested in signing Carlos Puyol from Barcelona.
Although Puyol is the captain and his commitment can never be denied when he pulls on a

leave the player out of the team because he doesn't necessarily fit within the team.

AC Milan are going through a transition period at the moment, they have lost one of their top

The month of August was not a fun one for the Wizards, KC went 0-4 in the month of August, allowing
10 goals, while scoring 0. Those facts make it hard to even begin thinking about who should be the

on giving the award to someone.

The dog days of summer have descended upon MLS. While both San Jose and Kansas City can

The Wizards are running out of time to right the ship and try to make a run up the table. They
visit the Earthquakes in a match between teams that certainly had higher expectations for the 2009
than what they have been able to achieve up to now.
I liked the effort and the passing from KC last weekend (they tried to get away from "everything
