Places Three to Six in the Championship have had an amorphous look all season and while the
occupants of the automatic spots have an ominous aspect, few would bet on the four currently
browsing the magazines in the promotion foyer to be the exact same four come May. We said this
about Burnley last year of course, but what are the chances of the current quartet hanging on to
those lofty perches?

other was new injury news, and there are several things here that I thought you find
interesting.
First, and most importantly, Kieran Gibbs did not break his foot, only suffered brusing, and is
expected to be back and ready for action against Chelsea on the 29th.

So, there, Cummins is gone. Duane Rollins thinks his leaving won't account for much, following his
convincing argument the other day for Trader Mo's dismissal as sporting director.
Fine Cummins out, so can we stop the ex-lower level Luton/Newcastle parade now? These are the last
of clubs in a long line of Graham Taylor-Watford-Wimbledon eighties style Charles Reep football,
and follows a "we need this part to fit in this cog" line of thinking to work properly—you have
to have two centerbacks and they both have to be big, you need a poacher near goal with a runner in
behind him, and you need a classic lined up midfield to grease that 4-4-2.

According to Soccer America's Ridge Mahoney, Watford and United States National Team defender Jay
DeMerit will need surgery to repair his injured left eye. DeMerit was returning to fitness from a
groin pull that caused him to miss the September World Cup Qualifiers when he scratched his cornea.
That scratch led to an infection that has kept him out of action with blurred vision in that eye.

I have a secret to admit - I love the attitude of seventeen year olds. Cocky? Arrogant? I've
always believed that confidence should exceed talent by a simple 2:1 ratio. When the sun-earth-moon
align, the solar eclipse can blind one with power and beauty. However, in my opinion, there is
nothing uglier than when vision-reach-grasp align.
