Thanks to Robert Mugabe's unique approach to democracy and socioeconomic policy, the
Zimbabwe national football team doesn't get a whole lot of action outside of Africa and Asia. The
Warriors are about to get a lot less action, as the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) has
suspended 67 players following a match-fixing scandal.
As the smoke cleared Monday morning in the city of Milan, there was no question who won the latest
edition of the Derby della Madonnina the night before. The sun shone a bit brighter and
everything tasted a bit sweeter for those wearing the Nerazzurri colours. In a hard fought battle
over 90 minutes, the warriors wearing the black and blue of Milan were victorious.

Geylang United(26/12/11)
2012 Pre-season Training starts with Geylang on Boxing Day 2012.
By Chris Wright
This is supposed to be a guide to help Johnny Foreigner learn the English language as well as
pick up on our national mannerisms, regional accents and specific dialogues within the context of a
post-match press conference...
Where to start?
Let's be totally Frank about this. Given a choice of watching Balestier Khalsa playing Woodlands
Wellington or watching the latest reality TV hit from the US what would you rather do? For me, a
trip to Toa Payoh would win hands down.
Woodlands, among other things, had only managed 17 goals going into their 31st game of the season
and were in 12th position two points behind Tanjong Pagar.
Why it's the anti-McCarthy keyboard warriors who don't know what they're
doing
Mick McCarthy has been strong, courageous and outspoken this week. We're not talking about being
up for a fight with opponents, scrapping against relegation or battling to climb the league.
Catholic, 2010 District Champs (by Duane Moses)
The District tournament will be held at Cooper Sports Complex, hosted by the Greenwood Blue Jays. A
play-in game on Saturday October 29th will be followed by the semifinal games scheduled for
November 1st. The Final will be on November 2nd.
Wales on cusp of making history and Sir Alex Ferguson calls for calm at
Anfield
Sam Warburton and his Welsh warriors will hurl themselves into the biggest game in their history
this morning determined to go further than any sporting compatriot has gone before.

Send some good mojo to the warriors today!
Every club has players who polarise opinions. We've had and still have our share. Those players
who are loved and loathed in almost equal numbers. For years Jermaine Jenas was the ultimate
'marmite' player, though it now appears most agree he's more 'arsenic' than a harmless yet
disgusting yeast based spread.
Dan Hammond is reported to have signed for Geylang United. If true then the English defender is
almost half way through his one man tour of the SLeague. He started his career with Young Lions
before moving to Woodlands Wellington, Balestier Khalsa and this year SAFFC.
However he had struggled to break into the SAFFC team with Daniel Bennett and Bah Mamadou providing
consistency at the back for the Warriors.
So proud of these young warriors!Published with Blogger-droid v1.7.2
While the All-Northern Badger Conference girls soccer team has a little different look this
year, there is one constant: Plenty of Waunakee players.
The Warriors, who have won or shared all 10 of the conference's titles, had five first-team
selections, three second-team choices and three honorable mention players.
By Eric Beard, writing from Boston
Just look at that face. He could be 15-years-old for all we know with that smirk, and the same
holds true for Giovani Dos Santos. But regardless of appearances, defenders from all over the world
know that if there's a moment of hesitation or a lack of focus then Chicharito will pounce and kill
off the opposition.
KOTA BHARU (20 May 2011) – Malaysia Cup champions Kelantan will finally have
a new stadium with a capacity of 40,000 – following the approvals from the state government to
build the new facility in Pasir Puteh to the tune of RM159 million (USD 52.4 million).
Chief Minister of Kelantan Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat said that the stadium will be built
within a sports complex which will also have other sporting venues including a swimming pool.
Three of the four regional winners will be determined tonight. Locally, it's Catholic vs McAuley

West Plains vs Mt Home (AR) in previously rescheduled 5th place match
Bari are in a whole lot of trouble. They have been for some time now, and nothing seems to be
getting better for the side. Relegation may not be a mathematical certainty but certainly looms on
the horizon as a seemingly inescapable destiny. Coach Bortolo Mutti, however, wants to ensure that
his side go down in style.

Tonight the warriors of Sodium proved to themselves they are on the way back. A tale of two halves
for sure. Sodium came out and had the advantage in the first half. They played with purpose, they
communicated. They took nothing for granted and pushed each other to the limit. Back and forth the
play went.

Five goals for SAFFC in 23 second half minutes put the Warriors back on top of the SLeague.
It's rather cold in Russia these days, what with it being February and all, but it's been
particularly bad of late. Temperatures down to -30C (-10F), forcing them to move both the time and
location of Rubin Kazan's Europa League tie with FC Twente. The game took place at the Luznhiki
which, unlike Rubin's turf, can't freeze as it's plastic one of its few redeemable qualities as
football goes.
Cracking weekend of fixtures lined up and it took much soul searching before I finally decided
which game I wanted to see.
The biggie is of course in the AFC Champions League play off when Sriwijaya host Muang Thong United
in Palembang which I previewed the other day in The Jakarta Globe. Most weeks it's a no brainer and
indeed until about three weeks ago I was set fair for South Sumatra.

thirteen team division.
