Keep calm and carry on isn't just a greetings card company, it's a quintessential English saying
that Oxlade-Chamberlain adheres too.... In an interview with Sky Sports, The former Southampton
Academy graduate stated that, "I have to keep my feet on the ground and keep working hard." An
attitude most 18 year olds may push aside [.

Nigel Reo-Coker says he has 'no respect' for Craig Bellamy after a bust-up between the pair during
Bolton's 3-1 win over Liverpool.
There has been a long-running feud between the pair since 2007 and those hostilities were resumed
at the Reebok Stadium.
Bellamy and Reo-Coker clashed just before the half-time interval with Bolton team-mate Zat Knight
forced to drag Reo-Coker away as the war of words threatened to explode.
Former QPR manager Neil Warnock and current QPR thug Joey Barton are involved in an ongoing war of
words at the moment, with Barton yesterday labelling his former manager 'embarrassing'. Never one
to shy away from controversy, Liverpool legend Mark Lawrenson has now stuck his oar in given his
view on the situation.
The Manchester City manager is set to be reprimanded by the FA, the English Football
Association, for his consistent card waving gestures. The gestures typically involve Roberto
Mancini waving a closed hand, with finger and thumb touching exclusively, high above his head,
indicating that the referee should award a card, either yellow or red, to an opponent.
Well it's happened again. Not even a full season back in top flight football and the "old dame"
Hertha has been embroiled in a soap opera of daytime TV proportions, where nobody ends up looking
good. Manager Markus Babbel and Sport Director Michael Preetz were entangled in a war of words
where one was trying to paint the other as a liar and claiming who did or did not say what,
when.
Player-Manager sideshows are interesting to say the least and it seems like Manchester City
manager Roberto Mancini has gotten himself involved in another spat with an unhappy player.
The dust from the Tevez debacle is yet to settle and already the Italian tactician is involved
in a war of words with defender Wayne Bridge.
Luis Suarez is not racist! Liverpool get shirty with FA

beside' Luis Suarez as they consider appealing against his guilty verdict for racial abuse.

Former Liverpool defender Markus Babbel has been sacked by Bundesliga club Hertha Berlin over an
ongoing 'lying' row with the club's Sports Director Michael Preetz.A war-of-words played out in the
German media on Sunday with both Babbel and Preetz accusing each other of lying over aspects of the
former defender's new contract.
Mario Balotelli and Micah Richards have been involved in a training ground bust-up. The pair
squared up to each other at the end of a practice game ahead of Manchester City's match against
Arsenal on Sunday. The confrontation followed a war of words. Richards was particularly angry by
what had been said, the Guardian reports.
Instead of focusing on his players excellent performance against Valencia last night, Chelsea
manager Andre Villas-Boas ensured the focus was on his war of words with the media.
The Blues managed to defeat their Spanish opponents 3-0 at Stamford Bridge, meaning that not
only did they qualify for the next round of the Champions League, but they also topped their
group.
Controversial QPR midfielder Joey Barton has finally ended his war of words with former club
Newcastle United.
Those looking at Premiership predictions note how Toon boss manager Alan Pardew criticised
Barton this week for comments he made about the St James' Park hierarchy.
And with the vital Premier League clash with Chelsea coming up this weekend, negative publicity
is the last thing needed at Newcastle, and to be fair at any club.
The on-field battles between the Los Angeles Galaxy and New York Red Bulls include some of MLS'
marquee names, but the off-field war of words between Landon Donovan and Luke Rodgers is arguably
just as entertaining.
After their regular-season meeting in May, Donovan was criticized by Rodgers for complaining to
officials too much and failing to shake Thierry Henry's hand after the game.

Landon Donovan has never been afraid to criticize anyone, even David Beckham (who incidentally
is listed as questionable for Thursday's game in Carson with back spasms).
We can safely say that the war of words surrounding the best player in the world is not about to
end anytime soon. Arguably the world's greatest player, Pele has once again opened debate on this
highly sensitive issue.
"I would love to play with Lionel Messi. But Messi is an incomplete player because he can't
use his head.
Liverpool striker Luis Suarez and Manchester United defender Patrice Evra have continued their
war of words following a racism spat from this Saturday's match at Anfield. The French left back
accused Suarez of directing racist remarks his way, while Suarez has taken to social media to deny
the claims.

Jamie Carragher has seen it all before as he prepares to celebrate his 677th Liverpool appearance
– against the old enemy Manchester United on Saturday.
And despite past bitter clashes Carragher doesn't see the eagerly anticipated game as the Kop
calendar's most explosive.
That's despite flashpoints such as his tackle on Nani last season which sparked some ugly scenes.

Bolton manager Owen Coyle has dismissed suggestions that there will be any tension for him at
the Emirates Stadium this weekend when Bolton visit fellow strugglers Arsenal.
Both clubs have performed below their capabilities thus far in the season and while Arsenal
could have done much better with the services of a proven English center-back such as the Trotters'
Gary Cahill, a war of words between the two managers brought an end to the negotiations last
month.
Joey Barton: QPR Sign Player from Newcastle on Free Transfer - originally posted on

Queens Park Rangers have pulled off something of a major coup after Joey Barton was snapped up
on a free transfer from Newcastle United. The midfielder had had surprisingly announced the move on
Twitter late on Wednesday night and now he looks set to make his debut for QPR on September 12,
against his old team Newcastle.
December 11th.
That's the next time these two monstrosities will face one another, perhaps in a league-mandated
steel cage with Marquess of Queensbury rules and everyone signing a pre-match waiver for bodily
harm/death.
An exceptional war of words already, with Pique declaring "Mourinho is wrecking Spanish
football" and Jose retorting that Barcelona uses the tactics of a "small team".

Following their 0-0 draw at the Brittania on Sunday, Stoke manager Tony Pulis and Chelsea boss
Andre Villas-Boas have been in a war of words. The new Chelsea manager has accused Stoke of being
too physical, and Pulis has once again jumped to the defense of his resilient side.

The AFA is meeting on Monday to decide the fate of the embattled Sergio Batista under whom
Argentina suffered a humiliatingly early exit in the Copa America. The general manager Carlos

Xavi has defended himself against criticism from Arsene Wenger after the Arsenal manager accused
him of disrespect over comments he made about Cesc Fabregas.
Wenger said last week Xavi had been "very disrespectful" for suggesting his Spain team mate
Fabregas was suffering as he waits to find out whether the clubs can agree a deal for him to return

We are now nearly five years removed from discussions about the Scottish Premier League
expanding with an SPL2 division, sparking a war of words with Scottish Football League officials
keen on retaining their say in how Scottish football would operate going forward. Since then, that
plan collected a bit of dust that was kicked up regularly as calls were made for some sort of
reorganization to the game in order to see the clubs be more competitive and more of them stable
financially.

TUKWILA, Wash. - Of all the things to get into an argument about, Sigi Schmid and John Spencer
jousted over set pieces.
In the week following the first meeting between these two teams - a 1-1 draw in Seattle in May -
free kicks played a central role in the war of words between the Seattle and Portland head
coaches.
Seriously. While the majority of the story in the Kitsap Sun was concerned about how this game
could move the needle on the other side of the Puget Sound, Waite said:
"Realistically for the good of soccer in the Puget Sound, this game should be played here,"
Pumas owner Robin Waite said.
It might be summer but that doesn't mean that the ill feelings between Barcelona and Real Madrid
have gone away.
The war of words between the two clubs intensified today when Barca president Sandro Rosell
accused Madrid of anti-sporting behaviour and slammed Real coach Jose Mourinho.

In a short time as a head coach, Portland Timbers boss John Spencer has made it quite clear that
he won't hide his feelings.
Weeks after having a war of words with Seattle coach Sigi Schmid, Spencer publicly criticized
referee Abby Okulaja and his crew for their series of decisions in Portland's 1-0 loss to Colorado
on Saturday.
On the list of 'Things in the world which need studying', atop lies the grammar and diction of

The New York Red Bulls-Los Angeles Galaxy cross-country rivalry has some added spice to it.
Major League Soccer's two high-spending, marquee-market teams played to an exciting 1-1 draw
Saturday night, but the fireworks didn't stop at the final whistle.

It was predictable wasn't it? Our ushankared overlord drops an inflammatory communiqué to an
