Expect the Revs to add at least another two more players in the next week or so.

Yesterday was MLS roster compliance day and a few cut were made. Most notable is probably Lee Nguyen, who was a Vancouver Whitecaps player for less than four months, none of which had a game. Players will be selected in today's waiver draft. For the most part these aren't players who will make differences on seasons though.

This being the third MLS offseason in the Seattle Sounders' history, you'd like to think we are starting to get the hang of this thing. We've been through enough expansion, re-entry and super drafts to the know that there really is no such thing as an offseason.

It should hardly be shocking at this point, but the Seattle Sounders announced that Christian Sivebaek has been waived. To replace his spot on the roster, they also signed Daniel Steres, who had been picked up in the recent waiver draft.

Sivebaek's departure does open up an international roster spot though, and presumably clears about $60,000 in salary cap space (the rough pro-rated portion of his unpaid salary).

My first guess was maybe former New York Red Bulls midfielder, Sinisa Ubiparipovic.

Bunbury's injury is supposed to keep the forward out 4-6 weeks, but Bunbury seems to think he'll be ready for the season opener against Chivas USA. That's certainly not out of the realm of possibility, and would be great to have the young forward back in time to play Chivas.
