Forest got stuffed 4-0 at Leicester City in the FA Cup third round replay last night. Safe to say, I don't want to talk about. Quite honestly, it could've been double figures had Leicester not had the good grace to stop playing for the last half-an-hour.

As you are probably aware by now, after 168 years of operation, the News of the World choked on it's own vomit and went belly-up on Sunday taking with it a sportsdesk that was in equal parts responsible for breaking some of the biggest footballing stories of recent times (Cristiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid, etc) as it was for running with some of the trashiest, lowest-common-denominator gutter toss ever committed to print.

As I wrote earlier it would be wrong to paint Walter Smith as having lived out his final days as Rangers manager above the fray of Scottish football's navel gazing bickering.
Today's papers would seem to confirm that opinion. The Telegraph reports Smith as saying:
