I hate to say it, but recently I haven't been able to keep up with the Vancouver Whitecaps. A
combination of other projects, studying, and laziness have contributed to a busy set of weeks which
have left me unable to post about the Caps. I just wanted to make sure everyone knows that the blog
is still going, and also to update you on some of the things I've been working on, contributed to,
or find interesting and want to share with you.
It's been a long time since I've posted, but I've got something pretty cool for any fans of the
FIFA videogame series. I was able to get a tour of EA Sports in Vancouver, Canada where the FIFA
series was developed. Not only that, but I got to talk to the lead gameplay producer of FIFA 12,
Aaron McHardy, about the new player-impact engine, precision dribbling, and tactical defending.
A very realistic-looking Wayne Rooney
EA Sports have announced that FIFA 12 will be playable on Nintendo's latest handheld platform, the
3DS. While their main competitors, Pro Evolution Soccer, have already released PES 11 on the
system, EA Sports wants to revolutionize the handheld gaming experience.
