Quite a transfer coup for Newcastle with the signing of £10 million pound number 9 Papiss Demba
Cisse from German side Freiburg. The Senegalese striker will wear the famous shirt, as worn by
previous Newcastle legends Alan Shearer, Jackie Milburn and Malcolm Macdonald. He will make up half
of a potentially lethal strikeforce alongside Newcastle's other top striker, also from Senegal,
Demba Ba.

Ipswich lost again last night; 2-1 to Birmingham, Nikola Zigic nabbing the winner in stoppage
time, their 11th defeat in 14 matches.
Manager Paul Jewell was also left fuming over an incident in which Ipswich winger Lee Martin was
fouled in the box by Brum's Stephen Caldwell and no penalty was given on the insistence of the
referee's assistant a lady human with a vulva and everything by the name of Amy Fearn.
Another weird and unsavoury incident occurred last night during the Liverpool vs Oldham match in
which Liverpool comfortably won 5-1 to progress to the fourth round of the FA Cup.
During the match, Oldham player Tom Adeyemi was visibly shocked and upset at something shouted
at him from apparently a member of the Liverpool fan section, and Adeyemi is seen to be close to
tears, having to be reassured by Steven Gerrard and Dirk Kuyt.
A bit late on this one but what the hell video footage of the crazy Tim Howard goal vs Bolton.
Everton went on to lose the game 2-1, so they're probably a bit sick of this goal already.
Howard went on to state that he is sympathetic towards the Bolton goalkeeper Adam Bogdan, refusing
to celebrate it at the time as he felt it was too cruel, and felt embarrassed.

The full FA report from the Luis Suárez Patrice Evra racism case
The FA's report into the Suárez case gives a detailed insight into the events that led up to
and followed the striker's insults In the 58th minute of the game, Mr Suárez fouled Mr Evra
between the edge of the Manchester United penalty area and the corner flag at the Kop end.
Here are the most interesting and important points from the 115 page document which explains why
the decision was made to charge Luis Suarez with racially abusing Patrice Evra.
Evidence
- The FA and Evra watched some video footage of the match. Evra pointed out to the FA, by reference
to the video footage, when it was during the match that Suarez made the comments about which Evra
had complained.
The Football Association has now released full written reasons for Liverpool star Luis Suarez's ban
for racially abusing Manchester United's Patrice Evra.
In the reasons for the sanctions the independent regulatory commission claim Suarez gave
"unreliable" and "inconsistent" evidence to the commission.

Publish and be damning. Printed on the FA website on New Year's Eve, the written reasons behind
Luis Suárez's eight-match ban for racially abusing Patrice Evra suggests Liverpool have little
hope of mounting a successful appeal even if they work hard to widen the "he said, they said"
loopholes in the 115-page report.
The FA has today published the reasons behind Luis Suarez's 8 match ban, after he was found
guilty of racially abusing Patrice Evra.
Liverpool FC released a statement following the decision to ban Evra, falsely claiming that he
had made unfounded accusations of racism before. They also falsely claimed the FA had ruled simply
on the basis of one player's word against the other, when in fact video footage and Suarez's own
admission helped prove he was guilty.
Luis Suárez accused of giving "unreliable" and "inconsistent" evidence
• FA release 115-page verdict into Patrice Evra racism hearing • Liverpool striker banned
for eight matches and fined £40,000 Luis Suárez gave "unreliable" and "inconsistent" evidence to
the commission investigating claims that the Liverpool forward racially abused Manchester United's
Patrice Evra, it has emerged.

There's no denying the fact that Brazilian legend Ronaldo is one of the greatest strikers ever
to have played the beautiful game. Unfortunately, there's also no denying that he was prone to

Ac Milan's Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic finds himself on the wrong side of the law for the

present video footage as evidence against his charge of blasphemy.
Now Ibrahimovic is a good player, there is no denying his abilities, however, his ego is just
to big.

While UEFA's decision to reduce Wayne Rooney's ban to two matches for next summer's EURO 2012
finals has been generally welcomed by England fans, Liverpool's Scottish boss Kenny Dalglish has a
slightly different take on the story.

Last night's La Liga tie between Granada and Mallorca was called off after an hour or so after
one of the linesman, Aguilar Rodriguez, had his face busted open (he suffered a suspected
fractured cheek bone) by an umbrella thrown from the stands...
With Granada 2-1 up at the time after coming from behind and looking on course for a much-needed
win considering how pap they've been this season, referee Clos Gomez stopped play after seeing his
colleague getting brollied over in the corner of the ground, immediately marching from the field
taking his assistants and Granada's three points with him.
Liverpool's Luis Suarez was yesterday charged by the FA for his alleged comments towards Patrice
Evra, and although John Terry and Suarez both stand accused of the same heinous 'crime', the
incompetence and bias of the FA has seen the two situations handled very differently.
The result of the FA's mismanagement of the situation has been several glaring inconsistencies and
contradictions that don't make much sense, and seem to point - IMO - to FA bias towards Terry.
The Daily Mirror today has a front page story that the London police are considering charging
John Terry with making racial comments to QPR's Anton Ferdinand.
According to the Mirror story the police have quizzed six senior Chelsea players about what was
said during the match and have sent the file to crown prosecutors to make a final decision.

There is no getting away from the fact that we need to sort out our defensive problems. There is no
point in sugar coating the weaknesses we currently have at the back that are being exploited each
week. For me conceding three was bad enough at Old Trafford but to ship FIVE at home last weekend
was a real shock.

As we all know, there has been a story in the press surrounding a situation between John Terry and
Anton Ferdinand after they had "handbags" with each other during our "heated" West London derby
with QPR at the weekend.
As a result, QPR have asked the FA to investigate the situation along with the police also getting
involved after a "member of the public" made a complaint against our Captain.
In the shadows of Manchester City's extraordinary 6-1 win at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon,
one of the Premier League season's more eyebrow-raising results of the season so far was being
played out at Loftus Road, as newly-promoted Queens Park Rangers beat Chelsea by an odd goal. It
was a curious match in several different respects.
In light of Patrice Evra's allegations of racism against Luis Suarez in our draw with Liverpool
last weekend, John Terry has been accused of racially abusing Anton Ferdinand in Chelsea's defeat
to QPR today.
Footage circulated on the internet with the claim that Terry had called Ferdinand a "black
cunt".
I posted the other week about some of our unsung hero's that don't make many headlines on the
football pitch. One was Ramires as we all know how well he has been playing this season, the other
was Ashley Cole who has been outstanding for us this season!.
His form has been consistently good and once again he is having an influence on our attacking play
as much as defending.
Everton have vowed to take 'firm and far-reaching action' against anyone who is found to have
thrown objects at Liverpool players during Saturday's Merseyside derby.
Objects - including what appeared to be at least one coin and a number of plastic bottles - were
seen being hurled at the likes of Luis Suarez and Craig Bellamy at Goodison Park over the weekend.
Morning all,
Welcome to the blog. In the real world (away from computers) there's supposed to be a horse race or
two in town today.
More importantly, FP is told, there is supposed some fine fashion on display. Offices in this town
are known to shut down for the afternoon, just so the ladies can get out there and enjoy the
festivities.
Arsenal midfielder Alex Song has been handed a three-match ban after accepting a charge of
violent conduct.
Song was handed the charge after stamping on Newcastle's Joey Barton during Arsenal's goalless
draw at St James' Park last weekend.
The incident was missed by referee Peter Walton during the game but the Football Association
decided to act after reviewing video footage.
Of all the Premiership new boys, when it comes to games between Spurs and Swansea, there isn't a
great deal of ‘previous', certainly not in recent years anyway.
One tie that really sticks in the mind came in 1978-79 when the Welshmen, prior to their first
division exploits of the early 1980's came to Spurs in a league cup match.
We were fortunate enough to have a group of "Friends of the Nest" on the ground in Portland this
past Sunday. Tom Faust did us the favor of capturing some video footage, including a pre-game
predictions from the Thirsty Lion, half time comments and even the equalizing penalty by DeRo. In
addition to the video, which you can view above, Tom took some shots around the ground and from his
vantage point close to the Timbers Army.
Video footage showing Blatter in denial about there being a "crisis" in FIFA.
He also sounds a bit like Don Corleone when he talks about FIFA being a family.
Along with the my posts about the two key players for Chelsea against United this coming Sunday in
David Luiz and Didier Drogba, I am reposting this article I wrote before the United games before,
because they are still relevant and I believe key in how to beat United on Sunday.
I have had a look at Manchester United and have come up with some key weaknesses in their game that
we need to exploit.
On April 5th, the FA charged Wayne Rooney with breaking Law 12 after he swore following scoring
his third goal.
A Sky Sports camera came on to the field of play and Rooney shouted "what? Fucking what?" at
it.
"The FA has today charged Manchester United's Wayne Rooney for the use of offensive,
insulting and/or abusive language relating to an incident during his side's fixture with West Ham
United," the FA statement read.

1. Player: Charlie Adam
Game: Blackpool vs Arsenal
Time: 57 minutes
After being fouled, Adam was clearly seen on the TV screen saying "fuck off". The referee is Lee
Mason who claimed in his match report from West Ham vs Manchester United that if he had heard Wayne
Rooney swearing, he would have sent him off.

1. Player: Jermaine Beckford
Game: Wolves vs Everton
Time: 73 minutes
After being substituted, Beckford was clearly seen on the TV screen saying "fuck me" before
rowing with David Moyes.

I have had a look at Manchester United and have come up with some key weaknesses in their game that
we need to exploit tomorrow. We all know about the threat they pose going forward. Chelsea need to
remain solid and disciplined defensively first and foremost. If we can keep Nani quiet and
frustrate Wayne Rooney we are half way there.
