Greetings, Dynamo fans. As we are all well aware, our beloved Orange fell short of the 2009
championship. It was a valiant effort against David Beckham and the LA Galaxy. Watching from
Houston, the Dynamo played well on Friday night, but early Saturday was a different story.
As midnight passed, LA took advantage of two costly fouls by Ricardo Clark.

After trying his best to engineer a move away from Anfield in the summer, rumours are flying again
that Javier Mascherano is on the verge of leaving Liverpool. So where's the problem? Why can't
Liverpool just let him leave? There seems to be this idea that Mascherano is somehow irreplaceable
and integral to Liverpool's success, but in my view, Liverpool could cope perfectly well without
him.

Whenever it seems like Liverpool are on the verge of making a giant step forward, something always
seems to go wrong and the opposite ends up happening. Why is that? ALEX MILLER looks at how history
seems to be repeating itself once again.
So here we are then: Mid-November and we are already out of the title race; on the verge of being
eliminated from the Champions League and already out of the Carling Cup.

Many are expecting Liverpool's Champions League fate to be decided a fortnight today but I'm
convinced it will boil down to the last game against Fiorentina.
I can see Lyon getting a result in Florence and the Reds seeing off Debrecen to set things up for a
Match Day Six showdown at Anfield.

Whether it's empty, half-baked ‘Spirit of Shankly' rhetoric or brainwashed fans jumping on the
‘Hicks and Gillett are the devil' bandwagon (without actually knowing WHY), there is a damaging
and pointless agenda being peddled in the press at the moment by alleged Liverpool fans that needs
to be highlighted.

Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has insisted that he would like to remain as the tactican of the
Merseyside club for many more years to come.
The Reds are in a serious crisis, as six losses in seven games has threatened to throw the club's
ambitions out the window. A seventh loss - against Olympique Lyonnais in the Champions League -
would be catastrophic for the Anfield outfit, as it would be their worst run since the appointment
of the legendary Bill Shankly as manager of the club.

Don't be surprised if you walk into your favorite footie pub tomorrow and see fans of Manchester
United, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Everton wearing OL kits. The match-up between Lyon and Liverpool,
while important for Lyon in terms of pride and security, is absolutely crucial for Liverpool.
Unfortunately for Rafa's Bunch of (un)Merry Men, they are nearly paralyzed with injuries and on the
verge of elimination from the Champions League.

Interesting story in Bild recently, suggesting that Fabio Capello has been asking Stuart Pearce
to keep an eye on Werder Bremen's 23 year old attacking mid/forward Aaron Hunt, who you can see
above scoring twice for Werder Bremen (in white) this weekend. The second goal (which tied the game
at 2-2) is an absolute cracker of a chest-volley combo.

Loose-lipped AC Milan exec Adriano Galliani has boasted that the club are on the verge of

January-to-June loan spell. He would then return (presumably for good) to MLS after appearing for
England at World Cup 2010.

Reportedly, Thierry Henry is on the verge of total recovery and could get the greenlight for this
weekend's Liga meet with Osasuna - is there anyone not excited by his return? We've been missing
him on the lineup and can't wait to see him back in action!
Same goes for Dani Alves, who's return is looking to be sooner than expected.
