I HATE HIMLiverpool face Man Utd at Old Trafford on Saturday lunch-time in what
may look like a daunting task, to earn points away at the Manchester venue.
On paper, it seems a difficult job to get anything from the game, but I believe Liverpool are in
the right frame of mind to gain at least a point, if not all three against Ferguson's creaking
side.

Venue: St James'Park, NE1. Date: 5th February 2012 Kick Off: 1.30pm Referee: Mark Halsey. Well, it
was another three points in the bag for the Magpies as they passed the supposedly "magical" 40
point mark, with no less than 14 games of the Premiership season to go. Apart from this though, the
most obvious salient [.
Venue: St James'Park, NE1. Date: 5th February 2012 Kick Off: 1.30pm Referee: Mark Halsey. Good
afternoon Geordies and welcome to our regular "match banter" feature for this afternoon's early
kick-off against Aston Villa at St James' Park. Despite being a fair sized Premiership team, unlike
Newcastle United they tend to pass under the radar of [.
Venue: St James'Park, NE1 Date: 5th February 2012 Kick Off: 1.30pm Referee: Mark Halsey I never
used to bother much about Aston Villa. They were just one of those "middle of the road" clubs who
chug along season after season with reasonable-sized crowds but nothing particular to shout about.
I got a bit annoyed at [.

Venue: Ewood Park, Blackburn Date: 1st February 2012 Kick Off: 8.00pm Referee: Phil Dowd. Don't
know about you, but I'm getting sick of the sight of Blackburn Rovers! We've played them three
times already this season and of course they were never off the TV screens during the really
vicious fan protests against their manager [.

Darron Gibson, did his former club Man Utd a huge favour by striking the one lethal blow last
evening. Landon Donovan continuing his great assist work. City were undone before one could say
Denis Stracqualursi.
Goodison Park is not exactly happy hunting grounds for City, winning only two of their last 15
encounters in that venue.
Venue: Amex Stadium, Brighton Date: 28th January 2012 Kick Off: 5.15pm Referee: Lee Probert Quite
simply, this was a game United should not have lost. Even with the cautious tactics employed by
Pardew we were clearly a class above, dominated 75% of the game and had a penalty appeal for a
blatant handball turned down.
Venue: Amex Stadium, Brighton Date: 28th January 2012 Kick Off: 5.15pm Referee: Lee Probert It's
the 4th Round of the FA Cup and we're still in it! Added to that some notable teams such as
Manchester City have already left the competition, and the so-called "big boys" keep getting drawn
against each other for a [.

Brazil has announced a massive US Tour for this summer in which they will play the USA, Mexico
and Argentina between May 30 and June.
With no World Cup qualifying for Brazil, they are the host nation in 2014, these three games
will be important matches for Brazil as they get ready for the Confederations Cup in 2013.
New York-area soccer fans are in for a summer treat.
Brazil and Argentina will square off in a June 9 friendly at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford,
N.J., pitting the two South American rivals and some of the top players in the world against each
other. The date falls on a FIFA international fixture date, meaning that first-choice players like
Lionel Messi and Neymar should be available for selection, though that is far from being a
certainty at this point.

Venue: St James' Park, Newcastle. Date: Saturday 17th Dec, 2011. Kick-off: 3.00pm. Referee: Lee
Mason. With the Magpies still lickng their wounds after a 4-2 mauling by some powerful Canaries,
they return to their nest at St James' Park to face another bird attack, this time from the Swans
of Swansea.
Wow, this was an interesting day. Some ups and downs, but mostly ups. My crew worked the
consolation bracket today, which, while not exactly glory matches, they are extremely important to
the teams and demand no less than our best. And good thing, too - because our first match was a
doozy. We had 49 majors called in the bout - not trips to the box (where four minors would get you
sent there), but majors - from what I gather (I hadn't thought of it before), a typical bout has
something like the low to middle 20s.
I had so much fun writing this.
We start today with the very bad news that our favorite Brazilian, Andre Santos, will be out for
at least 3 months due to required surgery on his right ankle. As you all know, he suffered this
injury during our CL dead-rubber against Olympiakos- an unfortunate injury that could have been
prevented.

Overwhelming Relief
Well then. That was something, now wasn't it? If you're looking for high-octane end-to-end

the death of a true Geordie Legend, Gary Speed, I've found it very hard to commit to a match
report. It's with a heavy heart [.
It should probably come as no surprise that the Galaxy have traded Donovan Ricketts to the
Montreal Impact in exchange for allocation funds. Ricketts has statistically been the best keeper
in the league. But when he went out with injury this season, Saunders took the starting role.
Ricketts is older and costs more, so it isn't such a stretch to understand why Arena would part
with him rather than Saunders.
Venue: Old Trafford, Manchester. Date: Saturday 26 November, 2011 Kick-off: 3.00pm. Referee: Mike

of clashes against "the big guns" of Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea. Like the last
one, we will also face the further disadvantage of playing away [.

It's amazing what a new stadium, with a capacity over 10,385 can do for a team's average
attendance. Combine that with a team that is doing well on the field and an atmosphere that has
vaulted the Cauldron up into the upper echelon of supporters' groups and you'll see a massive
increase in attendance.
