In Stuttgart kommt zwar

This matchday of Champions League and Europa League has provided us with action and entertainment.
Anyone who said the group stages are boring is proved wrong big time, with big teams slipping, and
small teams fighting, the group stages will be fought to the death.
In the Champions League, Liverpool boss Benitez is risking big with a 1-1 draw against Olympique
Lyon, although the reds aren't out of the competition mathematically, they will need many results
to go their way so that they can go through to the knockout stages.

This parenting stuff is already harder than I thought. ... Meat. ... The kid doesn't like to
play with fireworks nearly as much as I do and he doesn't even know how to use a toilet. ... Meat.

With Franck Ribery out, Bayern has been struggling without his creativity. They lost to
Bordeaux, 0-2 in the CL and are almost out of contention to make the round of sixteen.
In the Bundesliga, Bayern are in sixth place with 19 points after five wins, four draws, and two
losses.

I have always wondered how come everyone is so fascinated by Van Gaal. We all remember Ajax from
the mid90s but that story lasted briefly and they had the system to thank for the fame not the
coach. As soon as big clubs got the idea to buy everyone that was worth something in that team,
things fell into place.

Abteilung Offensive.

The focus on Matchday 2, for me at least, was on AZ Alkmaar. Last season, I seriously thought AZ
and Van Gaal could surprise Europe. With his typical bravado and smarts, I thought he would be able
to have the lads rise to the occasion with good, bold football. But Mr "I'm

Luca Toni may be a running joke in many households, including mine but you
can't help but feel un po 'triste for the man after van Gaal ruled him out of tonight's

striker, Luca would fit the bill perfectly.

Though Franck Ribery may not see Luis van Gaal as someone who'd be down with his pranksterism,
he apparently has warmed up to his new manager enough to nearly break him with a high-flying hug
after pinning a free kick to the top corning in Bayern's 5-1 win over Borussia Dortmund on

Since Bayern Munich decided to play hardball and not sell him to Real Madrid like he wanted,
Franck Ribery has resigned himself to making the most out of staying with the club. Unfortunately,
new manager Luis Van Gaal is a Stiffly Stifferson, which is putting a cramp in Ribery's pranking
style.

Often in sports athletes lie. Not necessarily in an evil step-sister type of way, but simply
to cover their own hyde. Usually when a player says that they are happy with their current deal,
but are awaiting a new offer that really means "Pay me or I am ready to leave." Or if a
player claims to be injured in training camp that really means "I'm out of shape andÂ

Have at it before the video is removed (7+ minutes).
Bayern had to be at its best to keep away Grafite and Dzeko away and Joerg Butt came up with
some excellent saves. But the day belonged to Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben. The French attacking
midfielder who came on in the second half and the Dutch winger in Van Gaal's 4-3-3 formation
combined impeccably to rip the Wolfsburg defense with precision passing and clinical finishes.

I would have thought that Franck Ribery and Franz Beckenbauer now finally agree on something.
The French sensation should have been sold. Der Kaiser has watched new manager Louis van Gaal take
a measly 2 points from his first 3 matches, and, following this weekend, the kings of German
football are sat in a rather peasant-like 14th in the Bundesliga.
