Rob has a very interesting article about the USSF's recent, ambitious effort to develop better
players. Not at all surprised to see resistance to the USSF here. I can even see it from the
amateurs' point of view - the Fed is supposed to represent their interests, not compete with them.

People said the Hubbell Telescope was a waste of money, but it's getting some cool shots of the
US-Tunisia game. You could almost read the names on the back of the jerseys! Apparently we're not
doing so well this tournament. Maybe we should have sent players instead of tiny white dots.
