In part one, Okugo talks with Greg and Eli about the upheaval on the team after the departure of
forward Sebastien Le Toux and captain, goalkeeper Faryd Mondragon.
Today at Bartle Hall in Kansas City, Sporting KC added two new players to their roster ahead of the
start of preseason next week. Not needing to draft a specific player that would be required to come
in and fill a need, KC was able to look a few different directions with their pick at number 16 and
even at pick number 30.
United States Under-23 coach Caleb Porter has been a star here in the US at the collegiate level,
and is now charged with the responsibilities of managing the US Olympic team. His goals are not
only to qualify for the Olympics, but also to help develop a nucleus that will compete for the US
in the 2014 World Cup.

Teal Bunbury didn't even make it to England to begin his training stint before transfer rumors
started this year. Last year while training with Stoke City, the English press jumped on it and
said that Bunbury was trialing with the EPL side and that the Potters were interested in buying the
KC forward.
Midway through his second season at Hoffenheim, US Olympic team prospect Joseph-Claude Gyau feels
the recent influx of German talent and direction will only help his own country's game grow.
A horrible story is developing in New York City. Pedro Sosa, the National Golden Gloves champion
for 2011, is in critical condition after falling from a bridge following a car accident. The same
accident resulted in the death of his sister.
Sosa and his sister got out of their car to check on a pileup that occurred on the Cross Bronx
Expressway.
US Soccer today announced that Tab Ramos has been hired to be the new US U-20 national team coach
and Caleb Porter will coach the 2012 US Olympic team.
Soccer By Ives reported on Thursday afternoon that Freddy Adu will be joining the Philadelphia
Union.
"Adu will be introduced as the Philadelphia Union's newest signing on Friday," the SBI report
said, "marking his return to MLS after four years in Europe, multiple sources confirmed to Fox
Soccer on Thursday.
As the both US U-20 national teams and the US Olympic team look to begin to put together their
teams in the next year , one player who is likely to be in the mix for both is Real Salt Lake
midfielder Luis Gil.
Going into the Gold Cup this year, Bob Bradley was riding a high. He had a decent, albeit extremely
lucky WC 2010 showing, a win against Spain, a first half surprise upset in the making on Brazil
before they came back, and there was even talk about him taking over the US Olympic team as
well.Fast forward to Friday, June 3rd.
Via the LA Times comes a statement from Bob Bradley that he is considering coaching the 2012 US
Olympic team himself.
"It is, it just has to fit with
everything that we do," he said. "The reason that it is [appealing] is that we've put a lot of time
into trying to connect our different teams, and any chance to work with players [before] you get
them with the full team, that's important.
