U.S. U-17 Men's National Team head coach Wilmer Cabrera has finalized a 22-player roster for the
upcoming Nike International friendlies in Phoenix. Only four of the 22 are from Major League Soccer

Eighteen-year old Fabrice-Jean (Faf ) Picault, a forward born in New York who
currently plies his trade with Italian Serie A side Cagliari Calcio, has been called into the U.S.
Men's National Team's U-20 camp, ASN has learned. The training camp, the team's first of the new
session, will take place later this month in Florida.
The U.S. U-17 Men's National Team has been drawn into Group E of the upcoming FIFA Under-17 World
Cup in Nigeria with Spain, Malawi and the United Arab Emirates. Play kicks off against Spain in
Kano on Oct. 26.

Five players from FC Dallas will, along with 16 others, represent the U.S. Under-20 international

The U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team was eliminated from the FIFA U-20 World Cup this afternoon
after the final group matches were completed in Egypt. The U.S. finished as the 17th place team in
the tournament, one place shy of the Round of 16.

The U.S. Under-17 Men's National Team rebounded in their second game of the 2009 FIFA U-17 World
Cup, defeating Malawi 1-0 with a goal from midfielder Alex Shinsky at Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano,
Nigeria.

In Kano, Nigeria, the U.S. U-17 Men's National Team fell in their opening round match against Spain
2-1, despite an early red card to Spanish defender Sergi Gomez and a Jack McInerney strike in the
fourth minute. Spain managed to take the lead with two counter-attacking goals in the 22nd and 30th
minutes.
Former U-17 Bradenton, Fla., academy prospect and U.S. youth international Dustin Corea could be
close to taking a major leap across the pond. The 17-year old "has had two way conversations with
Arsenal and Barcelona," according to an individual with knowledge of the situation. ASN's 'Over

The U.S. U-20 Men's National Team will hold its first training camp of the new two-year cycle
beginning on Wednesday, Dec. 16, and continuing through Dec. 23, in Chula Vista, Calif. Head coach
Thomas Rongen has called in 36 players from professional clubs, colleges and youth clubs, who will
train at the U.
U.S. Under-20 international Tony Taylor has agreed to a deal with Portuguese second division side
GD Estoril, ASN has learned. The 19-year old striker, who was just signed by Traffic Sports USA in
September, was part of Thomas Rongen's World Cup squad this summer.

U.S. U-20 national team midfielder Jared Jeffrey has signed with Bundesliga club FSV Mainz 05,
according to German media reports. The 19-year old Richardson, Tex., native was previously with
Club Brugge, but was seeing little action for the Belgian first division side.

The German U-20 national team easily defeated their American counterparts 3-0 in the first match
for both teams at the FIFA World Cup in Egypt Saturday.
The U.S. started auspiciously, with sloppy defensive errors, briefly regained their balance then
gave up a penalty kick that was easily converted by Semih Aydilek.
