Real Madrid can move a big step closer to the Spanish Premier League title today with a win against Levante in one of the day's most anticipated matches.

The United States will host Brazil on May 30th at FedEx Field in suburban Washington DC, the US Soccer Federation announced on Thursday. The U.S. men's national team's rumored friendly against Brazil has been confirmed, and FedExField will be the site for its location.

In preparation for World Cup qualifying, the United States will host Brazil on May 30 at the home of the Washington Redskins in Landover, Md.

A big snowstorm hit England on Saturday, threatening to jeopardize the slate of matches set for today, but the big headliner between Chelsea and Manchester United will go on as planned, and it will serve as the marquee match of a busy day in the soccer world.

While the Super Bowl dominates the American sports landscape today, soccer fans here will have plenty to choose from for their viewing pleasures, topped off with the big Chelsea-United clash.

The United States is away to Panama at 8:30pm on ESPN3 (web only) and Galavision. Mexico hosts Venezuela at 9pm on Univision. Liverpool - Manchester City 2:30pm - Fox Soccer Carling Cup semifinals, and a tricky second-leg for our Premier League leaders Manchester City. Down an away goal and facing the unfriendly confines of Anfield, City are coming off a late win against Spurs over the weekend.

Major League Soccer announced it's schedule for the 2012 season. All of the 19 clubs will play 34 matches, 17 at home and 17 away, during 34 weeks. Within each conference, each club will play the same number of in-conference and out-of-conference games.

All 323 matches will be televised live – 89 by national network partners ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Deportes, NBC, NBC Sports Network, and Univision (TeleFutura, Galavisión and Univision Deportes) in the United States.

Major League Soccer released their full 2012 schedule today which will feature 89 nationally televised games on the ESPN family and NBC family of networks. Univision will be the Spanish-language broadcast partner for MLS.
The season and First Kick will be on Saturday, March 10th and feature five matches.

If there had to be a United States soccer friendly on Veteran's Day there is no better nation to face than France. Considering the origin of the day (Armistice Day) and the history of France and USA share in battle it is suiting. For the USMNT this is another tune-up in the Jurgen Klinsmann era. It is another chance to develop into a team that passes out of the back using build-up play and finishes their chances.

France - USA is at 3pm on ESPN2 and Univision. EURO 2012 qualifying on ESPN Deportes: Bosnia and Herzegovina - Portugal at 2pm and Turkey - Croatia at 4pm. U.S. Major League Soccer has eclipsed both the NBA and the National Hockey League in terms of average attendance at games — a feat that explains why Fox and Telemundo just paid an incredible $1 billion for the rights to broadcast the Word Cup in 2018 and 2022.
That price was more than twice what ESPN and Univision paid to broadcast the 2010 and 2014 World Cups.

After a few very exciting weekends of football, this one seems a little mundane. There are no matches between WCR Top 25 Clubs. Once again, the highlight is a matchup between English powers, but let's face it – these days Chelsea/Arsenal pales in comparison to United/City. Still, it is an important London derby and should be fun for supporters of both clubs.

The big news last week was the announcement that FOX was awarded the English language rights to the 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cups. FOX outbid NBC and ESPN to claim the rights for approximately $400 million dollars. The Spanish language rights were won by Telemundo for an estimated $400 million.

ZURICH (AP) -- A FIFA official with knowledge of the decision says Fox has won the U.S. television rights for the 2018 and 2022 World Cups. Fox was awarded the English-language rights and Telemundo the Spanish-language rights.

In what is a fairly stunning move Fox has won the rights to the English language broadcasts in the USA of all FIFA events from 2015-2022. This will include the signature events of the 2018 World Cup in Russia and the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, as well as the 2015 Women's World Cup in Canada and the 2019 Women's World Cup which has yet to be awarded to a host nation.

When the 2018 and 2022 World Cups kick off in Russia and Qatar, there is a very good chance that you'll be watching those tournaments on a FOX network.

FOX beat out both ESPN and NBC for the U.S. broadcast rights to the 2018 and 2022 World Cups, multiple reports revealed on Friday morning.

As usual, there is plenty of action taking place on U.S. television this weekend, but let's face it, there's one match that dominates the schedule.
