It's now less than two weeks until the 2011 Women's World Cup starts in Germany, and over the
next couple of weeks and tonight we are taking the time to bring you a quick run-down of the teams

look at Group A, and tonight it's time to dip a toe into Group B, which features
two teams on the rise and two of the tournament outsiders.
This weekend my daughter had a right to be a bit baffled. You see, we are a household of red,
white and blue soccer fans. By this I mean we are supporters of the US Men's National Team and
the New England Revolution.
The poor thing often says "Look Dad, a Revolution flag!" Of course, those flags are typically
that of the United States of America.
The friendly between the United States of America and Argentina in New Jersey on Saturday evening
saw the visitors dominate and produce moments of really nice play, but eventually only get a draw
against a well-motivated American side. After a ... Continue reading →
This weekend sees Argentina face the United States of America in a friendly on Saturday, so this
week's Argentines Abroad acts as a bit of a prelude to that, in many ways. One player not included
in Sergio Batista's squad ... Continue reading →
