On September 22, 25 youth soccer players from United Soccer Club's THEARC site had the
opportunity to participate in Dick's Sporting Goods 'Shop with a Player' event. Dick's Sporting
Goods 'Shop with a Player' was held at the Bailey's Crossroads location where each USC athlete
received a $100 gift card to spend at Dick's, dinner provided by Papa John's, and the opportunity
to shop and spend time with D.

On Sunday, Acumen Solutions is putting on the Race for a Cause 8K in Arlington, VA. United for
D.C. was invited as one of the beneficiaries for the race (there are 13 in all) who may receive a
portion of the money raised - yes, I said MAY receive. In order for D.C. United's non-profit
arm to receive a portion of the proceeds, we need 100 people to sign-up for the race and designate
United for D.

Tonight is the Fifth Annual United Awards Reception to benefit United for D.C. At the event,
we'll annouce all of the team awards - MVP, Defender of The Year, Fans' Choice, Goal of the Year,
Coaches Award, Humanitartian of the Year - and look back on the season that was. There are also
going to be several hilarious videos (I shoule know, I've seen them already) that will provide

youth from United for D.C.'s United Soccer Club in the "Shop with a Player" experience at
Dick's Sporting Goods. Marc Burch, Quavas Kirk, Bryan Namoff, Clyde Simms, Zack Wells and Mike
Zaher accompanied a group of five kids on a $100 shopping spree throughout the sporting goods store
in Bailey's Crossroads.

This is a shot of Ben being Ben from last year's Celebrity Golf Tournament. The club and its
non-profit arm, United for D.C., have put on the annual event for each of the past six years and
will continue the golf tournament this summer at Old Hickory Golf Club in Woodbridge, VA. The big
day is Monday, June 23, so take a vacation day or call in sick - just make sure you get there.
