Ravel Morrison's bad boy reputation is such that Sir Alex Ferguson is currently considering
offloading one of the hottest talents to come through the Manchester United academy. Perhaps in a
last-ditch attempt to prove he is growing-up, Morrison has shown that he does not like to see
condiments being wasted and is determined to finish [.

Tom Cleverley has signed a new four-year deal which will see the midfielder stay at Old Trafford
until the end of the 2014/15 season. The 22-year-old, who is currently recovering from an ankle
injury, is a product of the Manchester United Academy, having arrived at Old Trafford at the age of
12, and his recent performances for the first team have seen him called into the full England
squad.
US Soccer has released their evaluations of the US Soccer Development Academy clubs for the
2010-2011 season and one MLS club was rated as the top club in the country out of the 78 clubs that

My pal Daniel over at BigDSoccer pulled this all together earlier and found out that FC Dallas
had the top rated academy in the country during the 2010-11 season.
Beating Leeds United 3-1 last week Manchester United Academy got their first three points of the

Colin Randall from Salut! Sunderland, who we've talked to plenty of times before when yet
another United player signs for his club, has spoken to us about hopes for next season after all
their spending.
Scott the Red: Were you happy with Sunderland's performance last season?
Colin Randall: Pleased until the drubbing at St James' Park, ecstatic after Stamford Bridge,
despondent during the slump, moderately satisfied with 10th finish.
Since 2007, the U.S. Soccer Development Academy has strived to impact the Men's National Team –
never has the program's influence been more felt than the four-day camp leading into Wednesday's
match against rival Mexico. The Academy is represented both on the field, with two former players
participating in the camp, and on the sidelines, where Klinsmann's staff has a wealth of experience
at the elite youth level.

Bill Hamid's journey through the U.S. Soccer ranks has been well documented, and has now culminated

There will be no repeat for the United States U-18s in Northern Ireland.
The United States tied arch-rival Mexico, 1-1, on Wednesday afternoon, but the result was unable
to help the young Americans qualify for the Milk Cup final. Jesús Ruiz opened the scoring for El
Tri in the 12th minute, slotting a corner kick past goalkeeper Cody Cropper.
The US U-18s tied Mexico 1-1 yesterday in their second game of the Milk Cup tournament in
Northern Ireland. The draw and a record of 1-1-0 eliminates the US from defending their title.
Northern Ireland and Denmark will face off in the final. Those teams had identical records to the
US but go through on goal differential.

Take Canberra United women's team - and divorce it from Capital Football - and now would be a great
time.
Capital Football do what they are best at - grassroots and local competitions.
The Canberra United professional set-up would gain further expertise and focus in their elite area
and Canberra United would expand to run and promote the elite game in town.

Okay, yeah, Real Madrid. I can see that. AC Milan...they're in the conversation, no question.
But other than that, we pretty much saw the two most annoying teams Europe had to offer. And,
therefore, the world, because Europe would never dream of there being a category in soccer they
didn't dominate.
Earlier this month in Woodbridge, one of the area's top soccer players, Dario Redondo, sat in
the stands watching No. 7 Gar-Field High School, a team for which he used to star, cruise to a 5-0
win.
One night later in Fairfax, Langley forward Josh Ellis charged from the top of the box as a
blocked penalty kick rebounded into the area and smacked the ball into the net, helping lead the
second-ranked Saxons to a 3-0 win in the district playoffs.
On Monday, the Philadelphia Union Reserve team were handed their first loss of the season at the
hands of DC United. They went down 1-0 off a goal from Brandon Barklage.
One of the bright spots from the game was the debut of yet another Home Grown Hopeful: FC Delco
and Conestoga High School midfielder Mike Gonzalez.
U-15/16 Performer of the Week: Eddy Milien – Midfielder, Weston FC
Milien

Sir Bobby Charlton is deservedly a national hero. It is easy to forget how major a star he was
in his day, and difficult to fathom just how huge he would be if playing nowadays.
But Sir Bobby Charlton is also the official flag-waver-in-chief for Manchester United and, not
for the first time, his interpretation of the facts is completely delusional.

In an age where footballers seem to care more about their wage packet, loyalty is often
overlooked.
Gary Neville, 35, hung up his boots on Wednesday as he called time on an extraordinary 19 years
playing for the club he has always cherished, Manchester United.
His loyalty to United was unwavering and his professionalism on the pitch and dedication to the
cause, won the affections of both team-mates and fans alike.
