I got the third kit in the mail last week. Its long sleeve, gold, collared, and a gem.
But the best part about it is the Johnny Haynes "jacquard" print on the lower right torso.

Welcome To The Lion's Liar Dynamo Dresden 4-0 FC Union Berlin (12:08:11) If someone asked me to
list the reasons why I love football in Germany, I could probably fill up two sides of A4 about the
stadiums alone, writes David Tunnicliffe. However, if I was to do the opposite and try and write a
list of things I hate about German football, it would contain one, solitary item: Friday 6 p.

Mission "Wiederaufstieg".
1. Fussball-Club Kaiserslautern, also known as 1. FCK, FCK or FC Kaiserslautern has unveiled its
home for the 2011/12 German Bundesliga season. The kit is made by German sportswear company
Uhlsport. Known for its goalkeeper gear, the sportswear manufacturer also acts as the kit provider
for 2. Bundesliga club Union Berlin.
1. FC Union Berlin is a German association football club based in Berlin. The club currently plays
in the 2. Fußball-Bundesliga (the second tier of German soccer) where it is in 11th place in the
table after 33 matches played. FC Union Berlin unveiled its Uhlsport 2011/12 home kit to its fans
on Saturday.
Berlin will no longer be the only major European capital without a top flight football team.
Hertha won promotion back to the Bundesliga with with three games left to play, after beating
DFB-Pokal finalists Duisburg 1-0 in the 2. Bundesliga's Monday night match. Since this was an away
match, Hertha had to postpone the big party until Friday, when they'll host 1860 Munich.

Union City Blues Hertha Berlin 1-2 FC Union Berlin (05:02:11) 74,244 fans; two teams; one city. In
terms of football matches, those ingredients are normally a recipe for hatred and evil. But
this was meant to be different. I was told that here, fans would stand, drink and sing together,
apparently.
Dortmund v Schalke is arguably the fiercest derby in German football
Two games take place in Germany this weekend with local pride as well as three points at stake.
The games in question, however, highlight the differing fortunes between football in the west and
east of the country. The 1. Bundesliga on Friday night sees the biggest derby in German football
between Borussia Dortmund and Schalke 04 whilst Saturday afternoon, in contrast, witnesses a very
different contest in the country's second division between capital clubs 1.
The derby with no history? In a weeks time European Football Weekends will join 75,000 fans in
the Olympiastadion to watch Hertha take on Union in the Berlin derby. David Tunnicliffe, an
Englishman living in Germany, gives us the heads up on the history, or lack of it, between these
two great teams.
