One more new stat before I start doing some updating on some of the stats I already had been
tracking. Today it's a look at landmark goals for KC. I'm tracking league goals, competitive goals,
both home and away. I'm also tracking US Open Cup, playoff, and international goals, but those 3
won't be listed here simply due to lack of many landmark goal numbers.
Here are some stats from last night's game. Lots of positions being tied by Davy Arnaud and Michael
Harrington.
Davy Arnaud made his 254th appearance in all competitions for KC, tying him with Preki for 3rd
place on that list.
It was also Arnaud's 224th league game, tying him with Nick Garcia for 2nd place on that list.
Here are the stats from yesterday's game.
Aurelien Collin was the 150th player to appear in a competitive game for Sporting KC.
Collin picked up the third red card of the season for KC, they picked up 4 in all of last
season.
Kei Kamara's first goal tonight broken his tie with Igor Simutenkov, Miklos Molnar, and Chris
Henderson for 17th on that list.
The investigation into the death of former KC defender, Uche Okafor, has taken a big turn today.
Word is that Okafor's death is now being investigated by the FBI as a homicide, not suicide. The
tragic situation has gotten more tragic as it now looks like his death could have potentially been
staged as a suicide.
Continuing to update my offseason stat information here on the blog. This time I'm updating the
10,000 minute club for the Wizards/Sporting KC. For league minutes, there was a new player added to
the list, as Josh Wolff hit the 10,000 minute mark in league play, becoming the 11th Wizards player
to hit that mark.

There are numerous reports from overseas that former Kansas City Wizards defender Uche Okafor was
found dead in his home. I have contacted authorities in Dallas and they have no record of his
death. The Dallas Police have checked with other law enforcement organizations around the Dallas
area and have not been able to verify his death.
Former Wizards defender, Uche Okafor was found dead in his home on Thursday morning. The death is
currently being investigated as a suicide as Okafor was found hanged in his home. A sad end to see
for a player who was the anchor on the back line for the Wiz/Wizards with Sean Bowers in their
first few years of existence.
